Oh girl, your blackness is a sin from the deep silk of your toolum baby skin to the untamed, fearful beauty of your late-to-school hair Oh girl, you want to be beautiful but the delicate palms of your hands are too brown and alien; your queenās eyes are too dark and unreadable; they only see stars dancing across a dark sea when they want to see the shamed void of what they took from you; they want to see their science hitting home and becoming your reality, poor girl, you should have been born without those soft, sensual, whoreās lips, those fat lips, that ugly mouth, and you command too many audiences with that deep, angryblackwomanās voice My lovely girl your navel sticks too far out your child-bearing hips are too full, the strength in your thighs is unsightly your ass moves too much when you walk when you sway; it is an insult, an insult that you hold your head so high, that you wear that hair like a crown, stupid girl this is the hierarchy of blackness of womanhood of being. This is a ladder you cannot climb.

Alright, hereās something funny. These boys in my hall went outside in their undies to take some photos in the snow. Funny, right? Theyāre trying to get attention and itās hilarious. Us ladies choose to do the same, we are wearing more clothing, and are doing the exact same poses. We are wearing as much clothing as is acceptable at the pool or the beach, at the gym, etc. Ā There is a serious double standard hereā us girls have gotten responses like:
"Whatās the point of being half naked?" "*ahem* sluts *ahem*" "Whatās wrong with you females?"
Or worse, what my mother said. Her initial shock was apparently because she thought I was in my underwear, but when I told her I was in a swimsuit, she was suddenly happy I was having fun in college.Ā The idea here is that we are doing the same thing. When arguing this point with one of my hallmates, he said āBut menās bodies arenāt built the same, you donāt see girls getting pumped up over a topless guy, but how many guys do you think are gonna get all crazy over a topless girl?ā Seriously? Really? Women donāt need to dress in order to avoid a reaction from men. Youāre mad because you canāt control yourself? Men can pose in their undies in the snow without an issue because women arenāt going to go wild over it? Keep it in your pants, thatās your responsibility, not ours.
The double standards are killinā me.
"Keep it in your pants, thatās your responsibility, not ours." Is literally one of the best quotes Iāve ever heard. Thank you.
Too many girls and minorities are being held back from success in science, technology and engineering fields.
A neighborhood in Cambodia is a global center of the child sex trade. The peddlers? Often, their parents.

When I was 16, I had a fake I.D. and decided to go to a gay bar by myself because some friends bailed on me. While there, an older gentleman bought me a drink. He wasnāt a creeper, and he definitely wasnāt unattractive. I accepted the drink and began talking to him. No big deal. As the hour progressed, I felt myself feeling strange. I mentioned that I felt like I had a headache, and this guy helped guide me out of the bar. As we were walking down the street, the thought of, āOh god, heās drugged me, Iām going to dieā came to my head. I tried to get away, but I was so drugged up that I could barely walk, let alone speak. It also didnāt help that I had really large āgothā platform shoes because I was going through a phase. Anyway, this guy brought me to his suv and began undressing me. As a final act of defiance, I hit him over the head with my platform shoe. He then punched me, and I remember thinking, āWhy donāt they ever give workshops to gay guys about being victims of rape too?ā While I was as careful as possible, I never saw the guy slip something in the drink. I even watched the bar tender make the drink. Anyway, I lied there completely paralyzed while this pervert was lubing up. I locked eyes with his for a moment, and thatās when it happened. A very large and angry drag queen opened the door of the vehicle and beat the shit out of my attempted rapist. She and her other drag friends helped dress and care for me while the police arrived. I was saved by a group of guardian drag queens. They were basically the modern day āangels from heaven.ā
God bless drag queens.
I will always reblog this
Whenever drag queens are present, you best believe they will save the fuckin day.
Oh fuck yes.
If this isnāt on your blog Iām judging you.
Every time a bell rings, a drag queen gets his wings.
For growing numbers of women on Wall Street, stay-at-home husbands are enabling them to compete at work with new intensity.

In case you ever wanted to buy milk gargled by white women, you can.....not necessarily a feminist practice but definitely an eye opener about white power and white privilege.
