I have put together some resources about bisexuals, bisexuality, our history, our community, the issues that we face and about the infamous bi/pan discourse.
Here you have a folder with a ton of PDFs about the most various topics regarding bisexual people (from biphobia to the health problems of bisexual people to studies about bi youth to representation in media to asylum seeking).
It has quite a huge section with entire books about bisexuality that you can read completely for free. In order to access all the contents in an easy way I heavily recommend using the guide to the folder, in which you can find a link to each PDF organized by topic and by number.
Here you have four google docs that I have put together:
Defining bisexuality (a collection of definitions of bisexuality by various bisexual activists and associations)
The Cultural Impact of Pansexuality (a collection of statements about pansexuality made by pansexuals or mainstream media outlets/celebrities like Marie Claire, Teen Vogue, the Rolling Stone and Miley Cyrus, among others)
Statistics, studies and articles about bisexual-specific issues (a collection of studies and articles about the issues that bisexuals face)
Debunking pro-pan arguments (a short thing I wrote doing exactly what the title says)
All these resources are also linked in this carrd.
(original post under the cut)
So since I have a lot of free time at work and I'm tired of searching for a thousand posts to quote during discourse I put together three documents about bisexuality and bisexual discourse.
Defining bisexuality (a collection of definition of bisexuality by various bisexual activists and associations)
The Cultural Impact of Pansexuality (a collection of statements about pansexuality made by pansexuals or mainstream media outlets/celebrities like Marie Claire, Teen Vogue, the Rolling Stone and Miley Cyrus, among others)
Statistics, studies and articles about bisexual-specific issues (a collection of studies about the issues that bisexuals face)
Debunking pro-pan arguments (a short essay I wrote doing exactly what the title says)
Like I said above, 99% of the material in these documents was taken from various tumblr posts, mostly by users verilybitchie, cowardly-bisexual, violettomcat and others that I honestly cannot remember (sorry!)
A special shoutout (lol it feels so corny to say that) goes to @bisexualiteaparty, who unknowningly gave me the idea for this, and her BisexualiTea (check it out, it has all I have put in the first two documents + a part about Butch and Femme identities)
IMPORTANT NOTE: these documents are an ongoing project, meaning that they will be constantly updated with relevant material. If you have some more material that I can add feel free to send it to me and I'll add it!
(also on PC looks a lot better than mobile, sorry)
EDIT: NOW IN A CARRD FORMAT!
EDIT 2: I choose to give another name to the third doc to make it more accurate.
EDIT 3: added the “debunking pro-pan arguments” file, go check it out!
Note: it was not proof read so there may be some mistakes. Feel free to point those out, to give me tips and to tell me if I missed some popular arguments that people make in defense of pansexuality. Its also in the carrd!
EDIT 4: I made a shared folder with a ton of relevant PDFs, access it here

i know a lot of people mock when certain songs are overused on character playlists but I will never judge someone for putting bubblegum bitch on one. If you decided that your little tv guy is miss sugar pink liquor liquor lips who am I to say he’s not
also what is happening with this woman is genuinely concerning. She went from being virtually unknown to receiving an overwhelming amount of fame in the span of 2 straight seconds.
People put her under a microscope and closely watched every single move of her (to the point that she was stalked and sexually harassed), and the moment she was truly honest about her experience as a celebrity and made some poorly worded political statements y'all turned on her so quickly.
"she's so annoying" "she should shut up" "if she doesn't like fame she should retire" how about you start being normal about this woman?
It's so weirdly amusing to see usamericans throwing a fit because Chappell Roan said that both parties are bad (but she's still gonna vote one because the other is so much worse) when that has been the single most widespread political opinion among italian leftists for the past idk 20 or something years
