GAME GRUMPS SENTENCE STARTERS.

“See, that is exactly how a co-op game does not work.” He’s a little preoccupied trying to get ambling zombies off his tail, but he’s at least able to reach over to Katsuki and get in an elbow to the ribs in between buttons. The retaliating shove almost pushes him straight off the couch, but he’s grinning too hard to care.

Katsuki, the asshole, doesn’t even look away from the screen, furrowing his brow and mashing buttons from memory in concentrated intensity, but there’s an almost imperceptible lift of his shoulders. "It’s your own fucking fault if you can’t keep up. I’m not waiting around for you.” There’s a split second path in between the lurching zombies on screen and for a second Eijirou thinks maybe he’s lost him. Then Katsuki’s character rushes guns blazing into the throng of the crowd and Eijirou snorts. Leave it to Katsuki to take the path of most resistance.

But, true to his pride, he blasts through it like a champ, leaving a trail of undead bodies in his wake and a clear path for Eijirou to try to rush past as many stragglers on the side as he can. Katsuki’s character rounds the corner and skids in front of the boss’s lair just as Eijirou’s encounters enemies. Eijirou eyes his low health and swears under his breath. Louder, he adds, “Dude, I’m fucking dying. Just come back and get me. You can’t just go take on the boss by yourself.”

Katsuki, being Katsuki, takes that more as a challenge than advice and flashes a quick middle finger before unhesitatingly leaving him behind him in the throes of the biggest hoard of zombies he’s seen to date (and he’s seen his fair share). It is the biggest non-surprise ever when his character proceeds to die on screen, but he doesn’t even try to hide his laughter when Katsuki’s dies all of about 30 seconds later. Totally expected. Totally still hilarious, though he makes sure to duck a safe distance away from Katsuki and his video game rage, then proceeds to not help by adding a “Dude, see, now we gotta play the level over again." 

The pillow to the face is worth it.
