- I didn't knew shit about her (a bit old for Disney Stars that are actually younger than me...) until I did a random research, related to a different topic, but I found this quite interesting:

In an interview with the Daily Star, the actress, who participated in the film ‘As Branquelas’, said that Hollywood is a degrading environment for older women.

“The Hollywood mainstream has become limiting and boring for me. I didn’t want my only options to be playing soccer mom (housewives who accompany children in soccer matches) on a show or living exclusively in a role I played in my youth. It was a wonderful role, don’t get me wrong, but I had a lot more to show and give and Hollywood just wouldn’t allow anything else to be seen, ”said Maitland Ward.

“Hollywood is degrading for women over 35. Unless you’re Jennifer Aniston or someone super famous, they don’t want to see you as sexy.
