G.6 - Tell me my fate, old hag
Virion wasnt listening at the moment. Those robes reminded him of what in Chon’sin wore from time to time, even Lon’qu ‘s outfit seemed similar. And so, he worked himsef on it, while Flavia did the same.
"Ah, I’d fancy a mirror now" he thought to himself, adjusting the sleeves while trying to pull it off as it was worth.
He glanced behind where the woman had been sitting, spotting some more of those strange robes, and Virion approached them, looking for a fine color that he fancied. And when he found the pink and white one, with those yellow flowers decorating the sleeves and the bottom. Maribelle would love it, or so he hoped. And so, he payed the woman according to it, while assuring that everything was on place, safe and sound. Yes, that should do it.
While thanking the lady for everything, Virion lead Flavia out of the tent, trying to answer her inquiring looks with a playful smirk. Well, she could wonder everything she wanted, but the duke was sure he’d be able to surprise Maribelle. Flavia seemed to approve, and, after all, it had been her idea as well. Virion would think about giving her due credit.
"Don’t we look ravishing right now, my dear friend? Perhaps this young lady was truthfully givin us a dash of…"
Virion’s words were cut out, when he looked behind them, to say goodbye to the fortune teller.
But she was gone.
>>Young lady? -the mock on Flavia's voice quickly fell into a pit, as she was as surprised as much as Virion at her side was.
>>GODS OF...! -while still impressed, the khan's inmediate reaction was fast enough to change from surprise to laughter. So hard and so loud that the warrior could have sworn she was about to be torn in two- Seems we were tricked! Amazing. I didn't know that festivals could be this fun. I guess we were fooled in too many ways. At least, nevertheless, we're still dressed.
It would have been beyond ridiculous that they were wearing nothing at all, as a part of the ilusion. What a poor consolation, Flavia thought to herself. It would certainly had been fun, probably her companion would drown in his own shame is such event happened to them.
And so, with a pat on his head once again, Flavia sighed.
>>She is going to love that, nevertheless. Fooled or not, these are some fine robes -Flavia paused- Let's get them dirty in a tournament!
And with such a joyful cry, the khan grabbed the duke's hand, running away from there, claiming to weild a sword and ready to kick everybody's ass while looking like a gentle flower.
Maybe she was both. But that day, she was going to be the winner.
Perhaps, indeed, those were lucky charms
