New intro post, hi I'm Old Hubba and this blog used to run polls on Fire Emblem ships. While I no longer do polls, feel free to talk about the ships you like in my inbox. I love and accept ships that are platonic, poly, queerplatonic, divorced and everything in between. If it's exploring the relationship between characters, it's valid.

My only rules are no incest and no pedophilia (romantic pairings between adults and children). But I also recognise that ages can be ambiguous and Fire Emblem has weird step sibling stuff, so I won't get mad if someone sends me something I personally can't accept, I just won't post it. ^^ Hope this makes sense, I'm not looking to demonise anyone but I reserve my right to have boundaries.

Also if you're interested in the mythology, I decided a while back that Old Hubba is actually an ancient being (a spirit or possibly a demon) that speaks through me. This is fine since I was never ensouled (bc I'm English) and it's nice to have something there. This is the gimmick now. Also I use any pronouns but he/him is fine if you're talking about Old Hubba. Don't think about it so hard. More mod hubba bullshit on @old-hubba-art where I post bad drawings.

Hi, you might know me as the FE3H portrait guide guy who made a detailed tutorial on the FE3H portrait style as well as a little guide for the school uniform dress code!

I'm going to admit something embarrassing. I ran out of space on my Google account and deleted some folders and without realizing I had DELETED THE PORTRAIT GUIDE like an idiot (and deleted permanently so it can't be recovered 😭)

It was completely on accident so I'm asking for help. I won't be able to remake a guide that detailed for a LONG while so if ANYONE saved it like made a copy or downloaded it as a doc/pdf file PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME... I want people to continue having access to it so it would mean a LOT to me if anyone has managed to save it!!!

Lysithea is so awesome and I want to yap about it. I think it's because she's such a determined character and she can be mean but people don't seem to realise she has extremely real trauma. She doesn't fit the image of 'victim of atrocity,' especially for women, so I think her pain tends to be minimised. She's the sole surviving child of her house. And she's under such a strict deadline due to her severely reduced lifespan that she dedicates all of her time to trying to grow and be mature. But despite that, she's clearly so young (including post timeskip, 20 is young). She's stressed and can't afford to waste time and she gets angry easily because she's trying so hard, she gets mad when people don't seem to understand. Like she's got five years to live and she's putting her all into being as good as she can and pushing herself nonstop, of course she'd be snappy if she's doing everything she physically can (though probably shouldn't) and still doesn't get the response she wants from people. In her mind, she doesn't have the time to be a child.

Also she's kind of awkward socially and comes across as prickly, but she's trying to be helpful. Her supports show her trying to help people, like giving Leonie training advice and afterward beating herself up for lecturing her unwarranted. It's just my interpretation but I think she's an autistic character. She gets frustrated by being patronised often, comes across as blunt and mean even when she means well, even her strong preference for sweet food. It's all very relatable, and I think it's notable that autism in women tends to be overlooked in favour of just calling them rude and difficult.

Her character is so tragic to me, I just want her to be bappy.
