Been awhile huh?

Anthrohio was not great, probably best to forget about that experience. Luckily my partner cheered me up.

Been a year, but things are looking up for this dragon.

Gosh golly I want to fly. In this particular moment I’d take any form of it. It is overcast here, raining on and off all day. The smell of petrichor reminds me of fresh wind off the coast and I’d do a whole heck of a lot to go back.

Have you ever considered how much I love my dog? There’s just this trailer sized dragon with an anxious lab following it around.

Using this to get some stuff out:

To preface, I cannot recall being a dragon before. I know I am now, in my soul, but I cannot remember any previous lives.

I still miss it? No. I long for it. I am currently on the tenth floor of a library subconsciously picking out a landing to glide down to. I know what flying feels like, I feel the pull of muscles that are not there. It stretches from my shoulders down my back and the sensation is so strong it freaks me out.

I know it is winter here, I never belonged in the cold. It is tortuous.

My bodily limitations catch me off guard often. I am heavier than I am, I pinch my neck often from looking behind me and getting stopped too short. I duck in doorways, always have. Almost like there is something that might catch.

The very first dream I remember was finding a machine in my bedroom. For some nonsensical reason if you poured soda into it and squeezed yourself through the opening, it would make you a dragon. Some imagination you have there, me. I was eight.

This doesn’t make sense. I don’t understand. I have no choice but to feel strongly, and then ask why am I like this now?

I know. I know, I know, I know.

I…don’t know.

Is it ever real?

Had this convo with my Mom today, lol. We agree that spirits can take whatever forms they need, yet in this place and time we are born as humans. She can’t wait to see me in the next life, wherever and whatever that will be.
