I love u guys blog. N I am also a festival addict. But I'm inspired to travel like u guys do. Not to b too personal. But how do u afford it.? Because I wanna travel but I don't have residual income. Any advice at all would be so so helpful. Thank. (I hope I asked privately)
Hey, thanks so much. Your question is not too personal, we are sort of really lucky and really sneaky at the same time. I have found a really flexible at home/online job that really doesn't do anything for my career, but pays decently and allows me to multi task. We are very careful with money while traveling and try not to spend much on souvenirs/food/hotels. We try to either stay with friends, or friends of friends, and actually find ourselves sleeping in the car at rest stops or finding free camping at freecampsites.net . We also volunteer at almost every festival we go to and try to get on their street team to earn tickets through social media posts and postering. Volunteering is a great way to be a part of the fest and meet great people while sort of mentally preparing for the fest (plus you get an extra couple days of free camping and hanging out)For food we have a jetboil and we cook based on what we need for energy. We focus on protein based meals to keep us going with lots of fruits and vegetables. We will only buy from the venue if we're really hungry or feel like a splurge. Plus my car gets great gas mileage. And if you're interested in national parks at all they have an annual pass that lets you get into any park for $80, which saves a lot of money. We used ours until the very last day.Anyways I hope this helps. A lot of people have standards that make traveling on a budget difficult (like showering every day or sleeping on a flat surface) But I think our ability to adapt is what is enabling us to travel so much. Happy festing and traveling to you! ^_^

Beautiful places exist in our backyards. Spring is inspiring us to explore a little closer to home. #photography #nature #wanderlust #beautiful (at Weaver Park)
The extra hour of sun is great.
Moonlight beers.
Shpongletron 3.1 brought the party to St. Pete on Sunday. Can't wait for the next time we get Shpongled at Electric Forest!
