Galadriel and Celeborn for @thelien-art Valentine Day Event

I’ll say it, I’m not mad about the sudden influx of kinky Sauron/Galadriel fics, I’m just frustrated Jeff’s pathetic little show couldn’t capture the heat of their canonical dynamic. They are not yearning. They are not the only two people who understand each other. Boy is terrified of her. That’s so much hotter! He got her kicked out of her own city because he didn’t think he could play on her board. His go to is ‘seduce my way in’ and after a few decades living with Galadriel he went “oh I can’t work with this”. Also, her husband is there. I can’t stress how much of a cop out having her husband not be there is— this is a man who politely smiles through poetic requests for his wife’s hair.

No Dark-Queen-forbidden-love can match the hilarity of what Tolkien actually implied: a MILF and a twink having hate-sex in front of her spouse/cousin/son-in-law before she burns him through like a cheap match and he panics and stages a coup.

since the new season of Rings of Power is out, I've decided to post my own personal interpretation of the last two rulers of Númenor, Tar-Míriel and Ar-Pharazôn.

May King Mordred for the prompt Morbid Month of May of @queer-ragnelle 's May Day Parade 2024 !

Mordred as the May King: not a symbol of rebirth and of life, but of death and destruction. The rise of the new king comes at the expense of the old king, the old year has to die to allow to the new year to come, the corn grows only to fall under the scythe of the reaper, the flowers blossom only to die. And like corn spikes, countless men fell in the war between Arthur and Mordred.

the silver prince and the white lady of the Noldor

we know that Celegorm and Aredhel never married, and that she never gave ‘her heart’s love’ to him, but I like to think that they’d a special bond neverthless ( maybe not romantic, but a bond all the same). he, after all, is the one we know that she was particularly fond and that she searched for his company after she left Gondolin, and that it was him who helped her and Maeglin to escape from Eol. they may not be canon, but they occupy a special place in my heart, wherever as partners or simply as friends !

Feanor and Nerdanel for Day 7 of @feanorianweek

Nerdanel likes to tease Feanor. This time, however, Feanor isn't amused as he usually is (your choice if it's because of his brothers)

NB : Feanor and Nerdanel look a little different from my previous art of them because they both are younger here. I like to think that even if elves doesn't age, they show some change in passing from youth to mature age.

Eowyn and Faramir redesign based on the Eowyn/Faramir wedding photo posted by Miranda Otto on her IG profile. i feel in love with the Magic the Gathering design of Eowyn for their new card game (here) and i decided to adopt it. i loved drawing them so much, so i'll probably make more 'Eowyn and Faramir redesigns' in future.

I am so soory for the laye replay, this is drop dead gorgeous! I mean look at those amazing colors!!! They look so soft and in love!

little missing moment from Assassin's Apprentice, Fitz with his little dog Smithy, in pair with my other drawing of the Fool and Smithy. this is supposed to be settled just in the afterwards of the scene where Galen tries to force Fitz to jump out of a tower with the Skill, where Fitz is trying to console himself with the company of his dog. young Fitz and his dogs make me sooo soft <3
