For over 25 years, I have lived in Highland Park, CA. The 90042 has always been a place I have called home, but lately it doesn't seem like it. While I enjoy progress, I do not enjoy the progressives who have come and invaded our properties, pushed us out, and not even given us a chance even work with us. Whose fault is it, well...no one, but ourselves who got ourselves kicked out and allow me to elaborate. I am a staunch individualist, yet a supporter of traditional values and culture our community had fought and struggled through the years, but it is the abandonment of these values why Highland Park is not the great neighborhood that it could be, but rather a stupid holiday special for non-locals (anyone who moved in before 2010) to make themselves at home.
