i think that i deal with a lot of [remembers this isn't my diary] Nothing. i've never had a problem
be the love you never received…
One of the strangest things about life is that you will never know how many times someone almost texted you, almost called, almost turned around to say something- but didn't. how many goodbyes never got spoken, how many feelings were never confessed, or how many moments faded into silence.
so say it.
say it while you can, while they’re still here, while the moment is still yours.
don’t let your love live in almosts.
As you get older, you start to understand that peace of mind is the most valuable thing you can have.
That's my problem, I think too much and I feel too deeply. What a dangerous combination.
"i’ve been thinking about time and loss since i was six years old, when it first dawned on me that people who died do not return, and that this was also true for everyday i had ever lived. My obsession with this unforgiving fact turned me into a writer chasing the possibility of capturing those disappearing days."
- People Love Dead Jews by Dara Horn
we trip over words we didn’t mean
we burn the toast
we forget birthdays
we check our phones too much
we pretend we know how to be human
and some nights
we look up at the stars
like they might have answers
like they’ve seen all of this before
and in the quiet moments
while staring at our own mess
we remember:
it’s everyone’s first time living too
- Fhemi A
“Your life stops being your own once you care what everyone else thinks. The day you stop seeking validation is the day you become truly free.”
the pressure behind my eyes feel walls.
the longer i keep them closed, the higher they build up,
until i open my eyes and the bricks collapse and
crumble down my face

to find silence, in a world that is over saturated with noise, is a skill that i am desperate to learn - F.A
