When you come from under control you can speak on it. Control comes in many forms and fashions. We have understand the difference between control and teaching. People that control others need to feel validated, even when they say they don’t. You don’t have to have nothing against anyone. You just need to understand when you know better—you do better. I’ve never tried to live my life through my children. My oldest daughter and son always say how glad they are that I pushed them to live their dreams. I pushed them to go after what they wanted. You can’t hold your children forever. But be supportive of them when they leave the nest.
