Hi, I'm curious as to how you can know you used to be someone in another life, when a bunch of other people claim the same thing? As in, there's only one soul, you know? I don't mean to be rude, or anything. Just new to the kin world.
Okay so, first off, different people experience being kin differently; not everyone was a character in a past life. Itās difficult for me to describe other types of kin experiences, because my experience is primarily related to past life stuff, but. Thereās that.
Now for multiple people who had past lives as the same character:
The universe is HUGE. Endless possibilities. Many many types of realities.
I like to think of it sort of like a google search? If you look upĀ ātall chubby girl with brown hair who goes on an adventure with her friendsā, thereās bound to be many many people out there who fit that description. Adding specifiers here and there will narrow it down a bit, but there will still be a whole bunch of people out there like that.
Also, there are plenty of dimensions that are very similar to each other, with slight changes, if you believe in the multiverse.Ā
People whose kintypes are past lives generally have canons (lives) that diverge from each otherās.
And even if someoneās canonmates (people they knew in their past life) actually had different names than what was shown in the published material, we generally just use the names everyone usesāremembering past life stuff can be hard, so we go off of what we can, even if weāre off about details in some areas.
So itās not even like we all had the same exact lives as each otherāsājust plenty of similarities.Ā
Weāre all different people, different spirits, just with similar experiences.
