Headcanons!!!

I think DT is a reptile, and that means that even when they’re in other forms they’re still “cold blooded”. One of the ways you can tell the difference between DT and the person they’re mimicking is that DT is slightly cool to the touch.

… also this means they like laying under heat lamps.

I have the same headcanon! (Except for an AU where their true identity is a human [based on the '80s version]).

In my daydreams where my characters from my book meet DT, they can always tell when it's DT because the vampire of the group can smell their blood and tell it's reptilian, and they keep this from DT for some time so they're always baffled on how they got caught so quickly.

If you end up relapsing, or have thoughts in that direction…

💙They'll never judge you for it—ever, no matter how worried they are. F/O knows that you struggle with it, and all they want to do is help you.

🐾If you relapsed, then they'll help you clean up your wounds and bandage them. F/O can either sit with you in silence after that, or they can try to help you get clean again. It's all up to you as for what you want them to do.

💙Whether it's burn marks, cuts, bruises on your knuckles, whatever it is that remains after your method of self harm, F/O will kiss them all. They know those scars are from a dark place, whether they know the stories beneath them or not. They don't ever want you to feel ashamed, even if you're not proud of yourself for doing it.

🐾If you're thinking about hurting yourself—whether relapsing into it or having never physically hurt yourself before—then F/O will do everything they can to help you.

💙They'll help distract you if you need it. Maybe you two do something together, like draw or watch a movie or talk about something unrelated. Maybe you just sit by F/O's side for a while, doing nothing but be next to them. You know you wouldn't truly hurt yourself when they're near you.

🐾If you do talk about it with them, then F/O will listen. After all, they know how important it is for you to be heard and seen for what you're going through, not just brushed off and say something hurtful regardless of intention.

💙They'll never let you deal with this alone. F/O wants you to be alright, even if it takes a long time for you to get there. You wouldn't want them to be alone in their struggles, so they don't want you to be alone in yours either.

Whatever it is you need, they'll take care of you and have it covered. After all, why shouldn't their partner have the best care they can get? You don't have to worry about a single thing there—even financially speaking.

💎Once everything's over, F/O showers you with kisses—carefully if required—for how brave you were being! If it was nothing for you, then they still shower you with love. F/O doesn't need an excuse to give you the affection they believe you deserve. After all, it's important to have a healthy dose of love in your life!

🐻Your F/O(s) won't mind making sure you're alright and calm. Even if you're little for the rest of the day, or possibly longer, they'll be right by your side getting you what you need.

🧁If you regressed because you're stressed, they'll make sure you're in a safe, relaxed environment and help you calm down.

🐻If you're a baby/toddler/small kid, F/O(s) will keep you in their arms as much as you need them to. They'll rock you, feed you, play with you, whatever you need during the duration of you being little.

🧁If you're a pre-teen/teenager, they'll still be by you and supervise you but they'll give you some space too. You'll have your comfort foods and items, no problem.

🐻If you need to vent out, F/O(s) will make sure you do so without hurting yourself, anyone around you, or accidentally breaking something.

🧁If you just need to take a nap because of how tired you got from the stressful situation that caused you to regress, F/O(s) won't mind getting everything ready for you. You deserve to sleep peacefully, and be able to relax. They'll keep any outside noise to a minimal and make sure you're undisturbed.

🐻If you feel embarrassed in or outside of your little space, F/O(s) will reassure you that it's alright. They don't mind taking care of you when you need it. They love you, and this doesn't change a thing, no matter how many times you regress.

Calling All DT Self-shippers!

Remember how I said I wanted to basically do an art collab where I draw DT, and then we could all draw ourselves/our sonas with DT like one big polycule? Well, I want to follow through on that idea!

The problem, though, is making sure we don't have any overlapping characters (two or more in the same spot, basically), and that could happen if I just post the template without guidance.

Remember, this is purely for fun, so don't worry about art skill! It can just be your Tumblr icon on a stick figure, if you want!

I think this is the best way to do it: I draw the template and post it with designated slots. Comment or submit an ask with the slot you want. It's first come, first served, so I'll be keeping track of what's still available and will let you know if the slot you want is free.

If you claim a slot and then change your mind about participating, that's ok! Just let me know, and I'll free up that slot again.

Participators will then submit their sona to me on a transparent background, and I paste it in the slot of their choice. Make sure to save it as a PNG! You're also welcome to submit a picture of a traditional drawing, if that's easier for you. Just use a white background so I can easily edit it out.

There is no time limit for submissions!
