My name is Ace and my partner Umbreon's name is Shade. I am a field researcher of pokémon. I focus on behaviors in the wild and how they are different than those in captivity. I also help sick or injured pokémon that can not help themselves.

Spring is coming, and with it, many people will find newly hatched pokémon around. If you find a baby pokémon around, it is best to leave it. Most likely, their parents are looking for food or a nice place to move to.

Bunny pokémon such as Bunnelby and Buneary tend to be picked up when found alone. Please leave them! If you believe a pokémon to be abandoned or injured, call your local ranger or center representative and simply keep an eye on it.

With this in mind, I wish you all happy hiking and a safe spring!

On this New Year's Day, remember that many Pokémon are very sensitive to sound and will need extra support and attention during the upcoming fireworks. Our team recommends earmuffs, heavy blankets, and/or comfort vests to reduce levels of stress.

Some Pokémon that are sensitive to sounds can be unexpected, such as Roggenrola, Chatot, and Nincada. So, as always, be sure to do a bit of research for your friends today.

Had to help a few Steel and Rock type Pokémon today because of this, so REMIMDER:

Pokémon that do not have visible mouths still need to eat! Showing themselves eating is extremely rare, even among trusted partners in the wild.

Simply set out the proper food and leave them alone for a few minutes before checking in to make sure they ate some. Please make sure to do proper research before owning a Pokémon.
