so im rewatching black butler and uh can we talk about how fucking TRAGIC of a character alois trancy is? like i know this isn’t a generally happy show but goddamn they really twisted the knife with that one. they give us boy just as much, if not more, traumatized and hurt as ciel, and on top of that they make him utterly alone. not wanted by anyone, not even the demon that was contractually binded to him. the demon that was expected, obligated, to crave his soul above all else. said soul is twisted and dark, fucked up beyond repair because of everything he’s been through, and yet he still feels that innate need to be wanted. and claude finds him repulsive for this.
