Mike cleans the girl carefully once she arrives to his suite. His man reason for renting her was her startling similarities to Doll in appearance. After he cleaned her he took her into his play room and placed her on the mattress on the floor instead of his actual bed.

While Braelyn could understand why some of her fellow slaves wanted to lash out against the Masters and Mistresses, she herself hadn’t. From what she’d seen, doing so only made a bad situation even worse. Braelyn wasn’t sure if the fact that she was beginning to mind being rented less and less was a good thing or a bad thing; on one hand, adapting would make things easier but on the other hand, she didn’t want to become a shell of her former self. Maybe if she acted like she was broken, the Masters and Mistresses would have less incentive to go about trying to break her and maybe, just maybe, she could figure out how to get as far away from “Paradise” as she could.

You paid a lot of money for me and you’ve been kind to me when you didn’t have to be, Master Chang. I wouldn’t take advantage of that kindness; I’ll make things as easy as I can.

FTF: Zoe rose a brow at the presence of the slave beside her, she had been listening carefully which was obviously ruining her meditation, but it was important for her to know if it could be trusted alone for any period of time. “You did not eat,” she offered without opening her eyes, her posture shifting ever so slightly. “Are you simply satisfied by what they call food down in the cells or are you so eager to serve that you would rather eat later? Either way I should punish you for disobeying orders.”

It’s only at the Mistress’ reminder that Braelyn realizes that she hadn’t. A look of remorse fills her eyes and they meet Zoe’s a bit apprehensively. A people pleaser by nature even before she’d been told that she was a slave, Braelyn didn’t like disappointing people. “I’m sorry, Mistress. It slipped my mind; I’ll take whatever punishment you see fit.” Braelyn says quietly.

FTF: "Go into the slave bathroom and take a proper bath and shave. When you are finished there will be food waiting for you in the kitchen and you may eat your fill and clean up your mess. I don't tolerate filth in my suite, little one." Sighing the Mistress pulled her hair into a high ponytail. "I will be in the living room seeing to my morning meditation so if when you are finished come kneel beside me until I am ready for you."

With a nod of her head and a “yes, Mistress,” Braelyn makes her way into the slave bathroom. After enjoying the hot shower a little longer than what’s probably necessary and shaving, Braelyn walks out of the bathroom and into the living room, kneeling at the Mistress’ side silently and awaiting further instruction.
