The $23 million Nadi Nalagi Hotel and Resort has got to be one of the most modern and impressive new tourism structures in Fiji.
Today it opens for business with the launch of a “soft opening” special.
The 10 storey hotel and resort is the tallest building in the Western Division and turns every head that passes by on the Queen’s Road, beside McDonald’s Restaurant in Nadi, Nalagi can boast as being in the hub of the jet set town’s growing economy.
As general manager Rob Maivusaroko said, the newest addition to Nadi’s already vast array of tourism destinations is 10 minutes from the airport, Denarau Island and Nadi town.
Nadi Nalagi Hotel is the first hotel development by Pincheng Investment (Fiji) Ltd, a subsidiary of Dongcheng Investment Company Pte Limited from Zhejiang province, China.
Features of the hotel
Constructed by mainly workers from mainland China, Nalagi features 196 modern and spacious rooms and suites, a range of conference facilities for small-medium size groups and events.
Mr Maivusaroko, however said the pride of Nalagi has got to be its rooftop infinity pool and bar.
“Nadi Nalagi Hotel’s 24m infinity edge pool is the perfect spot to take a dip and cool down while enjoying unobstructed panoramic views of the idyllic Nadi Bay and the Sleeping Giant mountain range.”
There is a second pool for children but with both pools, one could also get a bird’s eye view of international and domestic flights taking off and landing at Nadi Airport.
This setting of this magnificent leisure area has got to be one of the best must see paces in Fiji’s tourism top sites. ~Fiji Sun, May 2018~
Learning about Fijian culture has been such a great experience. I seem to learn more and more everyday, and everyday I find more similarities between Fijian culture & the cultures of the islands surrounding Samoa and Samoa itself. Such a beautiful culture. x
