Meru x Ume date (HKT48 no odekake! ep141 151104)

Sashihara: It seems Meru-chan’s dream has been realized. Her dream was to have a date with the member she loves, Umemoto Izumi. Gotou-san: Eeeh~? Sashihara: She really, really, really loves Ume. She loves her with real feelings of love. The day before of the shooting, Meru-chan sent me a mail saying “Sashiko-chan, what do you think if I’ll go with these clothes?”. Gotou-san: Eeeh~? Like if she is having a real date!

Meru: I joined HKT48 when I entered middle school, I never received a love letter, I’ve never confessed or received a confession. Speaking of love I really have zero experience. It’s a long time I fell in love with Ume, I’m thinking about her since like more than two years. And it’s always been unrequited love.

Narrator: Tashima Meru’s dream is to have a date with the person she loves.

Meru: It made my heart palpitate. Like “it’s about time”. Every single step was embarrassing. I was so nervous. Sashihara: She looks so happy.

*To the aquarium, they found a treasure box in the entrance. To make Meru happy, they have to do what is written inside all the treasure boxes*

First box: hold hands.

Gotou-san: She looks so happy.

Meru: That really made my heart palpitate. Holding hands you can feel the body heat of the other… Gotou-san: She’s freaking happy! Meru: Even my palpitation is transmitted to her. My heart was really racing. I was too happy.

Gotou-san: It’s a real date. Meru: Let’s count how many fish there are. Ume: That’s impossible. Meru: You can’t know if you don’t try. Ume: If you normally think about it, it’s impossible to count them all. Sashihara: They’re really like a couple. Gotou-san: That’s a talk that totally may happen during a date.

Meru: I always boke and Ume tsukkomi me, this is how our relationship is. I always say something weird and she says “That’s impossible”. She’s good at tsukkomi me. I love her mischief part too. When people realizes “Ah, these feelings are love” that’s when love starts. Gotou-san: What are you even talking about?!

Sashihara: They’re really holding hands the whole time. Gotou-san: Uwa! They’re totally a couple. Umemoto doesn’t even complain at all. Sashihara: That’s true! That’s it!

Meru: I thought a date at the aquarium was very good. In the middle of that darkness, looking at the fish, that made my heart palpitate…

Second box: lean the ear on her chest and feel her pulsation.

Ume: What are we even doing in front of those children?! Meru: Hurry, let’s do it!

Ume: Can you hear it? Meru: I can! I heard it! Ah~ That made me sweat.

Meru: Don’t say it to anyone, Ume’s pulsation was surprisingly fast. She was nervous… Hearing the pulsation of the person you love… that made my heart palpitate really fast.

Meru: Did anything change after you dyed your hair? Ume: Not really… I’m letting it grow. Meru: You’re becoming more and more girlish.

Third box: feed each other.

Sashihara: Ah! She’s wiping her.

Meru: Feeding each other is what made me think the most “Ah! We’re a couple”. Gotou-san: All the other stuff screamed “couple” too.

Last box: play the guitar and sing. Ume plays and songs Suki! Suki! Skip!

Ume: If you don’t fall in love, nothing will begin~ Gotou-san: She’s looking at her face the whole time.

Meru: When Ume was playing the guitar she was shining. Today I could hear her in such a wonderful place, it made me really happy.

Ume: When people falls in love, even their hearts become lighter, they start walking on the clouds, towards the world of the dreams. It makes you want to skip, waving your hands~

Meru: In the business world there are things that you can overcome alone. You can go ahead only by finding someone that you can completely trust, that won’t make you feel the weight of what you’re carrying on your shoulders. That’s the relationship I want to have with her. Sashihara: She is really doing a girlfriend’s face!

Ume: I love you! I love you! Skip!~ [end of the song] I made a lot of mistakes! Meru: You were amazing! You really played well. Gotou-san: She looks at her in the eyes the whole time.

Meru: Lately we get along, don’t we? Ume: We do. Meru: Ah, you admitted it! That’s unusual. Ume: Well, that’s not bad. Meru: You love me, don’t you? Ume: I don’t hate you.

Meru: Among all the Odekake!’s episodes until now, this one was the funniest one. It was really, really, the best day. Sashihara: If they’ll have other three dates they will end up kissing.
