Private Addiction ✧*๑❥
Kento x Reader
The basement archives of Jujutsu High were fucking freezing. They smelled like old paper, dust, and cold stone. Nobody ever came down here. The other sorcerers preferred the bright briefing rooms upstairs, leaving these deep shadows totally empty.
Which made it the absolute perfect spot.
You slipped through the heavy door. It clicked shut behind you with a soft thud. Your heart was already hammering against your ribs, a sharp spike of adrenaline lighting up your veins. This was your little routine. A brief, casual glance in the hallway, a specific nod, and a five-minute delay before following his trail into the dark.
Standing by a tall shelf of ancient books was Kento Nanami.
Even in the dim, flickering light, he looked entirely out of place in a dusty room. His suit was perfect, his tie was straight, and his spotted glasses sat precisely on his nose. He was reviewing a mission report, turning the pages with his large, rough hands.
To the rest of the school, you two were just regular coworkers. If Gojo or Shoko saw you talking in the courtyard, it was always strictly business. Polite greetings. Professional boundaries. The staff had absolutely no fucking idea. And honestly? You both preferred it that way.
The secrecy didn't feel like a heavy burden; it felt like a game. It made every accidental brush of your shoulders in a meeting room feel like an electric shock.
"You're late by two minutes," Nanami murmured, not looking up from his papers. His deep, low voice echoed softly against the stone walls, sending a shiver down your spine.
"I had to make sure Gojo didn't follow me," you whispered, stepping into his space. "He was in a talkative mood."
Nanami sighed, a tiny smile touching the corner of his mouth. He finally closed the folder, set it on the shelf, and took off his glasses. Without the lenses hiding his face, his sharp golden-brown eyes locked onto yours. They were heavy with a passion that he never allowed anyone else to see.
"A calculated risk," he murmured, his voice dropping low as he stepped closer, trapping you between his large body and the heavy bookshelf. The smell of his expensive cologne and faint tobacco immediately wrapped around you.
"Do you mind the risk, Nanami?" you teased, tilting your head up. Your breath hitched as his large, warm hand came up to cup your jaw. His thumb brushed over your lower lip, a burning contrast to the freezing air.
"I am a man who hates wasting time and unnecessary complications," Nanami breathed, his eyes dropping to your mouth. His thumb pressed a little firmer, tilting your face up just a bit more. "But where you are concerned... I am entirely willing to make an exception."
He leaned down, and the world upstairs completely vanished.
When Nanami kissed you, it wasn't the calm, patient act of a man who lived by the clock. It was hungry. It was demanding, his lips parting yours with a fierce, hidden hunger that had been building up all day behind forced professional distance. His other hand slid to your waist, his long fingers gripping your hip through your uniform, pulling you hard against his chest until you could feel the rapid, heavy thud of his heart.
You melted into him, wrapping your arms around his neck, burying your fingers into his neatly styled blonde hair, totally ruining the perfect look he worked so hard to maintain. It was a breathless blur of pure heat in the cold dark.
Then you kiss, and you know he won't ever tell, yeah.
Nanami was a vault. He was a man of absolute discretion, someone who would take secrets to his grave. That was what made this so thrilling—you knew that the moment he stepped out of this basement, his face would return to a cold, unbothered mask. He would never breathe a word to a living soul. This version of him, this breathless, deeply possessive man, belonged entirely to you.
He pulled back just an inch, his forehead resting against yours as you both breathed heavily, the air puffing into white mist between you. His eyes were dark, a rare heat burning in them.
"This is dangerous," he whispered against your lips, though his grip on your waist didn't loosen even a bit. "If we are caught, the rumors alone will ruin our schedules entirely."
"Are you telling me to stop?" you whispered back, a smile pulling at your lips.
Nanami let out a low, rough rumble from the back of his throat. He leaned back in, his lips brushing yours once, twice, in painfully slow, soft strokes before pulling away just enough to look at you.
And you could see him being your addiction. You can see him as a secret mission.
To you, he was a habit you had no intention of breaking. Sneaking around the strict, dangerous rules of Jujutsu High just to find these quick, stolen moments felt like the highest-stakes mission you’ve ever pulled off. And looking up at the intense devotion in Nanami's eyes, you knew he viewed you the exact same way—a secret, beautiful mission he intended to protect at all costs.
An hour later, reality hit you full force.
You were walking down the main, sunlit hallway of the faculty building, carrying a stack of student files. The wood floors creaked beneath your boots. It was supposed to be a safe, public space, but when you saw Nanami walking toward you from the opposite end of the corridor, the air grew tense.
The hallway was completely empty, except for the two of you.
As he got closer, Nanami didn't slow his pace, keeping his posture perfectly straight and professional. But as he passed you, his golden-brown eyes darted sideways, catching yours behind his spotted lenses.
You couldn't help it. You leaned in just an inch as you passed each other, letting your shoulder brush heavily against his arm. "Good afternoon, Mr. Nanami," you murmured, your voice dripping with a quiet, playful sweetness meant only for him.
Nanami’s reaction was instant. He didn't just stop; he turned, his large hand reaching out with a sudden, rare lack of control. His fingers wrapped firmly around your wrist, his grip warm and heavy, pulling you slightly off balance so you had to step closer to him.
"You are being incredibly reckless," he whispered, his voice a low warning that sent a thrill straight down your spine. His thumb subtly stroked the sensitive skin of your inner wrist, a bold gesture that completely went against his stern words. "Someone could walk around that corner at any second."
"But they haven't," you teased softly, tilting your head up, loving the sight of him losing his cool, even just a little bit. Your heart raced from his hand against your skin in broad daylight. "Are you going to let go of me, then?"
Nanami’s gaze darkened, his fingers tightening on your wrist instead of loosening. He leaned in a fraction of an inch, his broad shoulders shielding you from the rest of the hallway. "If I don't, I fear I will do something highly inappropriate for the workplace—"
Thud!
The warning came a second too late. Heavy, fast footsteps rounded the corner, and before either of you could move, a tall frame crashed straight into the two of you.
The impact sent your stack of files flying, loose papers scattering across the wooden floor like confetti. Nanami’s grip on your wrist snapped as he quickly threw his weight sideways to shield you, his arm wrapping around your waist for a split second to keep you from falling.
"Whoops! My bad, my bad! Didn't see you there!"
Satoru Gojo stood in the middle of the mess, his hands raised in a fake apology. He was wearing his usual blindfold, a wide, chaotic grin plastered across his face. But he hadn't just stumbled—he had practically thrown himself into your space, and he was currently leaning down so low that his nose was almost touching yours.
"Woah, look at that," Gojo hummed, his voice full of amusement as he looked between the two of you. "I mean, I know I'm wearing a blindfold, but what's your excuse? You two were practically glued together just now."
Your heart leaped violently into your throat. Your skin was still burning where Nanami had just been holding you, and the adrenaline made your knees feel weak. You quickly dropped to your knees, desperately grabbing the scattered papers to hide your blushing face.
"Satoru," Nanami said smoothly. His voice didn't even shake. It was a masterpiece of absolute calm as he straightened his vest, his face instantly settling back into his usual stern mask. He knelt down beside you, efficiently stacking the files with his large, steady hands. "We were just discussing the upcoming mission schedule for the first-years. Your lack of awareness is highly unprofessional."
Gojo crouched down with you both, tilting his head back and forth as if he were studying the very air. Even with his eyes covered, it felt like he was looking right through the lie. He reached out, playfully tapping the edge of one of the folders you were holding.
"Hmm, is that so?" Gojo pulled back, a sharp, knowing smirk pulling at his lips. "Funny, because the air feels kind of... sparkly down here. Like, high-voltage sparkly. And Nanami, your arm was practically wrapped around her waist. Are you sure you two weren't plotting a mutiny without me? Or maybe sharing a little secret?"
"Do not be ridiculous," Nanami replied coldly, standing up and handing you the neatly stacked folders. He adjusted his tie with a perfectly steady hand. "We do not have time for your delusions. If you have nothing important to add, please excuse us. We both have work to do."
Gojo let out a dramatic sigh, waving his hand as he stood up too. "Fine, fine! Be boring, Nanami. See if I care! I’m going to go find Shoko anyway." He spun on his heel, taking a few long strides down the hall before stopping. He looked back over his shoulder, his grin turning incredibly sharp. "Oh, and by the way? You might want to fix your hair, Nanami. It’s a little messy in the back. Very un-professional of you."
With a cheerful laugh, Gojo vanished around the corner.
The silence that followed was heavy. You slowly let out the breath you’d been holding, looking over at Nanami. His face was entirely calm, but his hand was tightly gripping the fabric inside his pocket. He reached up, his fingers smoothing down the slightly messy strands of hair at the back of his neck—the exact spot where your fingers had been tangled just an hour ago in the archives.
He looked down at you, his eyes flashing with a dangerous, thrilling heat beneath his lenses.
"Four minutes," Nanami murmured, his voice dropping back into that private tone meant only for your ears. "Give me four minutes to leave the building. And tonight, at my apartment, we will be having a strict discussion about your complete lack of discipline."
The clock on Kento Nanami’s living room wall ticked with absolute precision. It was exactly 8:00 PM when you arrived at his apartment.
Inside, everything was just like him: neat, clean, and perfectly organized. The air smelled like good coffee and rich wood. But tonight, the room felt different. It was heavy. Charged. The moment you stepped inside, the click of the front door locking behind you felt incredibly final.
Nanami was standing by the kitchen counter, pouring two glasses of water. He had already taken off his suit jacket. His sleeves were rolled up to his elbows, showing the sharp, muscular lines of his forearms and the dark leather of his watch strap. His tie was loosened just a bit, but his expression was completely stern.
He didn't say a word as he walked over, handing you a glass. His golden-brown eyes, completely uncovered without his usual glasses, locked onto yours.
"Sit," he murmured. His deep voice was a low rumble that vibrated right through you.
You took a sip of water and sat down on the edge of his dark leather sofa, your heart already doing a fluttering dance against your ribs. You tried to look innocent, tilting your head up at him. "Are we going to talk about the first-year schedules, Mr. Nanami?" you teased softly.
Nanami set his own glass down on the coffee table with a firm click. He didn't smile. Instead, he stepped closer, towering over you for a second before bending down. He placed one large hand on the back of the sofa, right above your shoulder, and the other on the cushion next to your thigh.
He trapped you completely, leaning down until his face was just inches from yours. The sheer presence of him made your breath hitch.
"We are going to discuss your complete lack of discipline in the faculty hallway today," Nanami said. His voice was smooth, but dangerously low, rough around the edges. "Do you have any idea how close Satoru came to uncovering us? He literally crashed right into us."
"He didn't find out anything," you whispered, your eyes darting down to his lips before snapping back to his gaze. "He was just being Gojo."
"He noticed my hair," Nanami countered, his jaw clenching slightly. "Satoru is a fool, but he is a highly observant fool. When he ran into us, my hand was on your wrist and my arm was around you. He saw the look on your face. And worse, he saw the look on mine."
He leaned in a fraction closer, his chest almost brushing against yours. The heat coming off him was intoxicating.
"I am a man who values structure, protocol, and absolute discretion," he murmured, his eyes darkening with a heavy intensity. "But the moment you brushed against me today, you deliberately tested my restraint. You knew exactly what you were doing."
"Maybe I wanted to see if you'd break," you challenged softly, your voice shaking just a bit from the sheer thrill of it. You reached up, your fingers hesitant before gently touching the collar of his shirt. "You always look so untouchable, Kento. I wanted to see if you'd touch back."
A low, rough sound escaped the back of Nanami's throat—a growl of pure surrender.
"I am touching you now," he breathed, his calm facade finally snapping.
His hand moved from the back of the sofa, his long fingers sliding into your hair, gripping the back of your head firmly but gently to tilt your face up. His other hand slid up your waist, his palm burning through your clothes as he lifted you slightly, pulling your body tight against his.
When his lips met yours, all the "strictness" vanished into pure hunger.
It was a hard, breathless kiss, full of the desperate passion he had been keeping bottled up since that narrow escape in the hallway. Nanami kissed you like you were his only anchor in a chaotic world, his lips demanding and deep, parting yours without a single bit of his usual hesitation. You wrapped your arms tightly around his neck, pulling him down into you, completely addicted to the heavy, fast beat of his heart against your chest.
He pulled back for a split second, both of you gasping for air in the quiet apartment. His hair was messy now, completely ruined by your fingers, and his chest was heaving. He looked beautiful—raw, breathless, and entirely yours.
"This is the weight of our decision," Nanami whispered, his voice low and steady as he looked at you. "Maintaining this balance requires absolute focus. Tomorrow, we return to the school, and we must act with the utmost professionalism, as if this conversation never took place."
You nodded slowly, leaning your head against his shoulder, acknowledging the gravity of the secret you both held. "I understand, Kento," you murmured.
He looked at you for a moment longer, the intensity in his eyes softening just a bit. "Good. It is essential that we remain disciplined."
