I don't know why people are hating on Tim for those scenes with Lucy...
Yes they are boyfriend and girlfriend, but they are also Watch Commander and Sergeant. They aren't always gonna be boyfriend girlfriend on the job, maybe in some cases, but never 100%.
Yes, Tim was acting like a boyfriend up until he heard Lucy saying that she killed someone. He had to switch to her supervisor otherwise they both would be under investigation for showing favoritism. Watch Commander Tim turned to supervisor to calm Lucy down and make sure that everything he documented is by the book. Also kudos to him for putting Celina in place by telling her that this isn't a conversation. Mind you he stayed as Watch Commander Tim until the minute they left the station. After that its boyfriend Tim taking care of Lucy.
And I am hearing complaints about Tim not comforting Lucy when they got home. I mean this girl went through something that will stick to her for the rest of her life. He listened to what she wanted. Even though Tim wanted nothing but to hold her and tell her everything will be fine and she will get through this. But he knew better. Even though Lucy didn't say it, but we all knew (those not hating on Tim -_-) that she wanted to stay up a bit, meaning to be alone, to process what just happened. She was putting on a brave face until she got home. She was able to feel safe and break down in a place where she doesn't have to fell judged for breaking down. I mean if something like that happened to me, I would want to be alone for a bit to process what just happened.
I mean come on... have some respect for Tim for listening to what she wanted and for his job.
I mean I can't imagine if it was the other way around. If Tim wanted space you would be hating on Tim because he is pushing her away and that he is reverting back to his old ways. I mean I am getting tired of these Tim hate.
Well now we found out where the full version is: on prime. I still stand by what I said.
But one thing I forgot to mention in the last scene people are saying that Tim is going to sleep with Lucy… SERIOUSLY??? This man cannot sleep without Lucy. Did any of you not listen to the episode where they got back together in 8x01?
