Film: Ein Kuss
That’s the title we get in German. One kiss. Congrats movie you got good one!
Why? I don’t wanna screw with any other movie title choices, but a lot get really weird titles, when the movies are released in Germany. This one: lucky. Wasn’t hard to translate though. The original movie title was Un bacio. So now shortly to the basics: released in 2016 and bought by me last week on itunes (no commercials here, but I just wanna let people know, that the movie is out and about).
So I watched it last night, what might be weird for some of you guys out there, but I sometimes have expectations on certain films and then I don’t want them to be destroyed right after I bought the movie. Last night I was in a place, where I was ready to watch it! Cause reading about it, I knew I would cry. Cuddled up in a blanket on my sofa I watched it and was blown away from beginning to end. This movie, I knew from the first seconds, wouldn’t disappoint.
Un bacio is based on a novel I didn’t read, so this won’t be a book – film comparison.
The movie has an amazing soundtrack. Born this way by Lady Gaga is featured in one of the best scenes. But let’s be clear here. I liked it so much, I even feel bad writing about “one of the best scenes”, cause actually every scene is one of the best. And now I’ve done it. It sounds like too much goodness in a movie and that sometimes creeps me away, but believe me! This movie is worth watching.
The story, I don’t wanna write too much about it, everything you need to know about that you can get from the trailers or Wikipedia. Short: Three friends. A girl. Two boys. Calling themselves losers. (Parallels to Perks of a Wallflower, anybody?) And two endings. The real one and the wished for ending.
The movie blew me away and I actually decided cause of that feeling to create a sideblog just for movies and my passion for them. I hope I can spread the love for films and I wanna write about the positive movies and films that kind of belong to me, because they become a part of me. My goal would be more people seeing the movies and films that influenced me positively. (Mostly)
I’d be honoured if you decide to follow me. Thanks, Lena.
