Hey folks, so I really don’t like asking for money or help in general, but my bank fucked up with my account number and gave me the wrong one. I gave social security the wrong number and I likely won’t get my check this next month before all my bills are due. The Department of Treasury will need to do an investigation in case there is fraud, and that can take a long time depending on when my bank kickbacks the check. Additionally, I got in a really bad car accident earlier this month and my car got totaled, so I now have to save for a new car.  My credit got fucked when I bought my now totaled car, so getting a car from a dealership might not be an option for me. I have an interview on Monday, but it is not guaranteed that I will get the job. I will have to work part-time so my benefits are not affected. I am putting everything I can into getting a new car including what I get from the possible paychecks I might get from the potential job. 

 I might also have to pay court and lawyer fees because I am contesting the ticket I was given from the accident even though I did not cause it. If the prehearing does not go well, I will owe my lawyer $175 per hour, and that is a lot for me. My copays are also pretty high for the therapist I have, and I am afraid that I won’t be able to have the therapy I need to keep stable. I am pretty scared because I depend on this check to get through the month since I’m disabled. Without this check, I will not be able to afford rent, bills, my medical needs, my phone bill, or anything else that I’ve listed above.

With all of that being said, I am doing tarot card readings, rune readings, and writing short stories for people. I might also do drawings as well, but that will be a case by case basis since I am really insecure about my drawing abilities. so nobody really wants to hear this but i have to say it somewhere, so i’m gonna say it here. i’ve lost 35 lbs over the past 4 months, and i still feel really awful about my body. i still feel like i have so much more fat to lose, and so much more work to do...but tonight, i tried on a pair of pants that i planned to wear when i go back to work on friday. ( on a side note, i had a mental breakdown and had to take 6 weeks off -- but my recovery’s gone well. anyway, back to the point. ) the pair of pants i wanted to wear didn’t fit. they were too big. that was a nice feeling. it was also a nice feeling when the next three pairs were too big. then my dresses. and my blouses. and even one of my pencil skirts. all in all, about 60% of my wardrobe is going to goodwill tomorrow, and i’m getting new clothes in sizes that i haven’t worn since high school. i’m too hard on myself. i’ve made a lot of progress, and i do still have more weight to lose, but i should be proud of how far i’ve come. i’ve never been so happy to try on clothes, and have them not fit...because now, i’m on the other side of the spectrum.

Kazuma stirred lightly as his eyes fluttered open. Looking down at the woman he was currently sharing a bed with. This was much different compared to his usual sleeping accommodations. Normally, he wasn't one for mixing business with pleasure, but last night was different. He stood up and sighed, he supposed that it was time to get dressed and armed. Perhaps after a nice bath.

          A delicate hand brushes the curve of his elbow, the soft, sweet woman tangled in the sheets gazing up at him with dreamy eyes. She gives the appearance of having only just woken to the shifting of his body, the absence of his warmth beside her – but this, like her outward appearance, is but a deception. Hours have been spent watching him through the night, breathing in his energy, soaking up his SPIRIT – oh, but it’s only a little at a time, never enough to make him feel anything more than a bit groggy at dawn. This arrangement is a careful and meticulous game of patience. It will take months to drain him completely…if he even decides to remain for such a length of time – but with the welcoming embrace of her lush body, and the beckoning of her gentle demeanor, it would be difficult for a mortal to resist her. Ah…but he is NOT mortal; she can taste as much in his soul – so…what is he?          It is a question that had plagued her since their first night…and even now, she has yet to discern his true nature. How curious; it’s as though the prey has become the predator, luring the demoness in like a moth to a flame – that burning desire to know…and his taste is quite addictive. Warm…like the color in her cheeks, and the honey in her voice as those spidery fingers twine about his arm, drawing him toward her as she slowly shifts, the silk sheets peeling away to reveal lush curves cresting at soft pink peaks. ❝ …Are you going to take a bath? ❞ She mewls, her smile so fond, so earnest. ❝ Would you like some company? ❞

          Well...she really isn’t in any position to refuse, despite the nagging assertion that she does not deserve such kindness -- that it is unfair of her to take his money, and not give him her body, but...what is she to say, if he is the paying client? She will do ANYTHING the client desires, within reason, so...if that truly is all that he wants, then as unfair as it seems, it isn’t her place to deny him. She quietly shrugs her shoulders, and timidly opens her delicate hand to accept his proffered payment. ❝ ...I -- ...n -- no. I d -- ...I d-don’t...but, if...that’s really all that you want, I... ❞ I can’t refuse. It’s written plainly across her expression, though it is left unspoken. She swallows audibly, clearly baffled and uncertain.

          In spite of her palpable hesitation, she resigns herself to the questions that are bound to come. Let’s sit here and talk, she says -- as though it would be a casual conversation about the weather. Mina knows better...and what she knows, what she anticipates makes her stomach curl in sour, aching anxiety. Even so, she nods with a forced smile, and shuffles over to rest herself upon the crumbling stone of the bench near the gazebo; it really should be replaced soon, and Yevgeni will likely be willing to purchase a new one if it’s brought to his attention. Appearance is everything, after all. She gingerly dabs the cold pack against the throbbing, mottled purples of her bruise, and keeps her gaze locked upon her lap, irises swiveling briefly to the grass before returning to the pleats of her skirt. This silence is so uncomfortable -- the calm before the storm, it makes her stomach ache and her heart twist in knotted TERROR.
