A deleted scene from Iron Man. Deleted scenes are great for rescoring and this one has a lot of different elements and certainly feels like a very polished Marvel scene. Enjoy!

How about a classic action scene? As with most of the clips from the month, the rest of the movie is full of music save for one scene. Ben Hur is no different. Score all or just the second half!
A rare Indiana Jones scene without music (that is John Williams stops at 27 seconds into this clip). A true action scene.
Your first action movie scene - almost a hold over from the tension of October but certainly not the in horror genre. Mission Impossible 1, the vault scene. Try and make a conscious effort for this to be an action scene and not tension/horror.
November’s Film Scoring Theme
Great job with October! The theme for November’s film clips are action scenes of all types.
Have fun scoring the ending to Blair Witch Project for the week of Halloween!
This is a long scene from Inglorious Basterds. Find the best 1.5 - 2 minutes to score the tension between the Basterds and the Nazis in the tavern.
The youtube description for this clip is “The most fucked up scene I've ever witnessed in a film that isn't independent.” Though mother! may not be classified by some as horror, this scene has plenty of tension as father is waiting for mother to fall asleep (and I cannot watch it without flinching every time).
October’s Film Scoring Theme
Since it is the spookiest month of the year, all the film clips will either be full of tension or in the horror genre. Have fun and have a spooky October!
A tense scene from The Departed.
Try for this scene to make a list of the emotional cues/changes from the main actresses as if doing an analysis of her performance. Let those emotional changes inspire the score.
A classic scene from Jaws! Up to you whether you use your own melody or incorporate John William’s classic two note theme.
Haven’t posted a romantic scene yet, so have a tea-making scene from the soft film Weekend. Happy pride and have fun!
Suspenseful scene from Jurassic Park, try not to be too influenced by John Williams’ iconic themes!
This scene covers a lot of emotions from Tom Hanks character from frustration/anger to elation/pride. How will your music follow those emotions?
A fight scene from Bourne Ultimatum. Like in the previous prompt where working around dialogue was a problem to overcome there are a lot of fast paced (fighting) sound effects in this scene. It is very possible that a director will want you too score a scene like this even if it stands well on it’s own.
Dramatic scene from Buffy. Instead of just creating tense music try for something that follows the character’s shock and sadness. First scene with some real dialogue - good luck!
