BUCKLE UP, EVANGELINA LOPEZ. SHE IS 21 AND THE YOUNGEST LOPEZ. HER BIRTHDAY IS THE 17TH OF SEPTEMBER. YOU CAN CATCH SCOTT IN VAN ONE AND SHE IS PLAYED BY THORNE.
[ Everybody wants a flame;; ]
+++; Â intelligent, witty, sweet â; Â self-deprecating, blunt, tactless
[ Start the spark in our bonfire heart;; ]
âł Â Born the youngest twin to immigrant Doctor Miguel Lopez and his wife Maribel, Evangelina and her family were often sneered at for being âanchorâ babies to what had originally been a green card marriage. Her father had practiced medicine in Mexico and her mother had grown up in their tiny town of Lima, Ohio. Their meeting had been chance and their wedding had followed soon after.
âł Â Evangelina discovered her love of books at the tender age of four when Maribel had taught her to read Dr. Seuss. Once the youngest Lopez discovered books, she devoured them visually by the building. When she reached a book with an unhappy ending, sheâd been devastated. Unsure how to console her little bookworm, Maribel took her to the library for another book. A writing workshop happened to take place that very day and Evangelina was hooked on the idea of writing. Instead of being irritated by an ending, why not write something of your own?Â
âł Â Evangelina graduated high school at seventeen and was college-bound that fall when she met a man by the name of Zack Tanner and had fallen deeply in love with him. He was a fellow hopeful in writing and it seemed as though there wasnât anything they disagreed on, until Evangelinaâs opinion differed on his own in the matters of alcohol and she was on the receiving end of his temper. Afterwards, heâd apologized profusely and swore heâd never do it again. Of course, things never work out that way.Â
âł Â Soon, she withdrew from her friends and family and all but dropped out of school out of embarrassment. She would go weeks, sometimes even months without talking to her mother. It wasnât until sheâd come home for the holidays that she finally broke down. Evangelina transferred schools to be closer to home and away from Zack.
âłÂ Once she settled in with her college degree, sheâs decided that a road trip with those sheâs closest to and those she just met is just what she needs to heal.

BUCKLE UP, MATTHEW HUDSON. HE IS 22Â AND THE OLDESTÂ HUDSON. HIS BIRTHDAY IS THE 12TH OF OCTOBER. YOU CAN CATCH MATTHEW IN VAN TWOÂ AND HE IS PLAYED BY DAMITA.
[ Everybody wants a flame;; ]
+++; Â dependable, hardworking, loyal. â; Â distant, callous, oblivious.
[ Start the spark in our bonfire heart;; ]
âł Â Matthew is the oldest child of the Hudson family, and by most who know him he is considered to be intense. He never does something that he likes half-assed, and if he doesnât want to do it all the president himself couldnât force him into it. He is very protective of his family, and has been taught a very healthy respect for women by his mom. Watching her work as a single mother his entire life to provide for her sons was something he always had respect for, even if he hated the fact that she had to do it alone. He has never been âthat dudeâ who has it all figured out and knows exactly what he wants from life. As far as Matt is concerned the future usually extends about as far into the future as what to eat for lunch that day.
âł Â The only thing he knows for sure is that he hates watching his mom bust her ass to earn a few bucks. He wants to find the kind of career that allows her to retire and live a comfortable sort of life where all she has to worry about is the garden she chooses to have or whatever. Mattâs never really been considered a âproblem childâ that isnât to say however that he hasnât caused his fair share of problems for his mom and brother. Heâs kept average grades since middle school, never cared much for clubs or sports and when it comes to causes trouble like in all other things, he does it on his own time and in his own way. Disappearing from the house for days at a time just to get a little of what he considers peace. It isnât a problem so much anymore, since heâs old enough to account for himself, but during high school his ability to slip out under the radar gave Carole Hudson more than a few sleepless nights.
âł Â When it comes to dating Matt hasnât done much of it since his freshman year of college, being a firm believer in the adage of once bitten, twice shy and his first serious relationship outside of high school was pretty much an epic, TV worthy disaster. Since then, he has found it all too easy to come up with convenient excuses to not date. Heâs too busy, he has to study, his job doesnât leave him enough time, with the road trip coming up, and he doesnât have the money to waste on fancy dinners and anniversary gifts. Though girls have shown enough interest in him, the vast amount of ready and practical excuses have kept him out of the dating pool, he isnât really lonely per-say, but there are times when he misses the comfort of having a steady girlfriend.
âł Â Matt also loves parties, with his favorite past times being Irish whiskey on the rocks and a good blunt. Stumbling home drunk, high or a combination isnât anything new for Matt, and while he acknowledges that his actions are sometimes more than a little reckless, and cause for concern for the people that care about him, he figures since it isnât hurting anyone, there really isnât any reason to stop. In his mind, heâs careful enough, he doesnât drive drunk, finds a cab to make sure his lady friends make it in alright and to date he had never passed out in the middle of the street. There is a first time for everything, but he figures he can cross that bridge when he comes to it. All he is doing is having fun and enjoying his life, and there isnât any law against doing that.
âł Â Since starting college, Mattâs realized that he has a pretty natural talent for writing, itâs been his best subject consistently since grade school, and never really bothered to consider what that meant until he took a creative writing class for the language credit. When one of his short stories was published in the campus newspaper he really started to consider if maybe writing wasnât something he might want to do with his life, even if it was very likely not going to make him any money. To support himself, he got a job freshman year working at a warehouse doing swing shifts over-night, it doesnât leave him with a lot of time for sleeping, dating or doing anything really except studying, scarfing down a snack and going to class, but it does allow him to send a few bucks home every month to help his mom out, and could easily support him later in life, if he decided writing was really what he wants to do.

BUCKLE UP, SCOTT EVANS. HE IS 21 AND THE YOUNGEST EVANS. HIS BIRTHDAY IS THE 4TH OF MAY. YOU CAN CATCH SCOTT IN VAN THREE AND HE IS PLAYED BY GRACE.
[ Everybody wants a flame;; ]
+++; confident, charming, intelligent. â; Â arrogant, womanizer, uncertain.
[ Start the spark in our bonfire heart;; ]
âłÂ Raised in a good, Christian family, Scottâs upbringing could only be described as idyllic. Born and bred in a small town in Tennessee, Scottâs early memories are of jumping into piles of autumn leaves, paddling in the local river with the midday sun warming his back, and building snowmen in their front garden while Christmas treats baked in the oven. His parents were loving, generous, and open, often firm, but always fair. His father taught him to ride a bike, to fish, and to play baseball, football, and other proud American spots, and his mother would fuss over him â fix his clothes, smooth his hair, and make sure he had a pudding pot with his lunch. The Evans family was never exactly rich, but they worked hard, and taught their children to do the same â and in the end, they made ends meet. They were a modest, happy family, and humble, too â and many of Scottâs fondest memories are from Tennessee. He knows he and his siblings were the luckiest people to have such a care-free childhood.
âłÂ Southern hospitality was the basis of their small community, and while Scott saw the bible stories as just that, stories, his weeks were always building towards Sunday. It meant another chance to see his friends, and a community activity, often with the best food Scott had ever tasted. Despite the usual complaints, Scott enjoyed school just as much as he did church, making use of the library and after-school clubs. He was an avid reader, experiencing endless adventures through the words he read on the page, and it was this passion that led him to his true want in life â to travel in space. Scott bought his first ever telescope aged seven, and all he wanted for every Christmas and Birthday after that was as many things related to space as possible. It became an all-consuming passion â he learnt the constellations, designed spaceships in his spare time, and read every story he could find about astronauts and aliens. If there was one thing he was certain about, it was that he wanted everything to do with space.
âłÂ The changing point in Scottâs life came when his fatherâs job got relocated, and suddenly Scott found himself packing up his childhood home and heading to Lima, Ohio. He was resistant of the move, having only ever known life in Tennessee, and it took Scott a long time to accept that they were leaving. And the day they did, he made his family late. While everyone else was packing, he slipped around, taking one last look around town. He went to the spot where he had his first kiss, on a bridge over the river, visited his elementary school, his middle school, and his best friendâs house, and then took one last glance down Main Street. Though it was the best possible timing for Scott and his twin, falling in the summer between middle school and high school, he still didnât want to leave â and hated Ohio as soon as he arrived. With his love of learning, his Southern accent, and his childish naivety, it wasnât long before Scott found himself teased, bullied, and utterly alone. Nobody wanted to talk to him, and he found himself slushied and shoved into lockers on more occasions than he could count. He didnât fit in, and he didnât want to. Freshman year was one of the worst of his life â more than anything, he wanted to go home.
âłÂ The next summer of Scottâs life proved another life-changing one â one that changed Scott once again. He fell in with what can only be described as the âwrong crowdâ, by every definition. The drinkers, the smokers, the promiscuous ones â they were cool, and dangerous, and everything Scott wanted to be. He swapped his polo shirts for leather jackets, choked on his first cigarette, and vomited in the woods after far too much vodka. He spent that summer becoming a whole new person. It wasnât really him, but it was cool, and that was all that mattered. By the time September rolled around, his new look and apathetic attitude won him far more friends than his previous generosity and amiable attempts to make friends, and, after joining the baseball team, Scott found that he was actually cool. He hung out with the popular kids, went to their parties, and lost his virginity to a cheerleader on some random personâs motherâs bed. His grades plummeted, but for the first time since heâd moved to Ohio, he had friends who wanted to hang out with him, and girls who wanted to sleep with him. It was shallow, and fake, but it was better than nothing.
âłÂ For all his detentions and dropped grades, it was a pregnancy scare that shocked Scott out of his rut. It was senior year, and when one of the girls he was sleeping with rung him up at 3am, telling him she was pregnant, Scott felt like his world had stopped. The posters of space and models of rockets had long since been cleared away from his bedroom, but the idea of being trapped in Lima, struggling to make money and raise a child with a woman he definitely didnât love, terrified Scott to the core. When he received the news a few days later that the test had come out negative, he felt like it was his second chance â and while his new-found personality didnât change, his work ethic did. Still falsely arrogant, obnoxious, and sleeping with any woman in sight, Scott balanced late-night parties and smoke breaks with studying for exams and applying to colleges, and his natural smarts somehow got him onto Stanfordâs Astrophysics programme. Heâs not completely sure itâs what he wants to do in life now, but it was the one thing he knew, and the one thing he was good at. While heâs not the typical Stanford student, perhaps a little rougher around the edges than most, heâs been happy at college, finding decent parties, a couple of good local dealers, and a workload he actually enjoys. Heâs mellowed his persona a little, proving to be a little more mature, a little more experienced. Yet with the future looming⊠Scottâs feeling more and more unsure about where his life is going to go next.
