@finishing-touch is probably the person who always astounded me with their videos and gifs. Given I can barely gpose, their work was a little bit like a glimpse into a mythical world of talent.

I can't put any of them here, because I don't think you can copy gifs like that, but here are some examples: 1, 2 and 3.

They're not super active currently, so I hope they're doing well.

An OC who I find particularly loveable and endearing would definitely be U'lohi Tia of @humblemooncat. I am not immune to a cute himbo and Lohi is the cutest example of the genre. Long may he continue in his mission to spread sunshine across the realms.

i don't really see him all that active that much, but i'm always glad when he is. but @finishing-touch still remains a pretty high inspirational person when it comes to the technical skill and ability to really put together a scene utilizing what tools we have at our disposal when it comes to things like anamnesis, brio, and ktisis -- couple that with his exceptional editing skills in photoshop and what i can only assume atm is adobe after effects, seeing his gifs were always a treat.

i remember seeing a lot of the gifs that were made and put together by him and being like, "i want to do that, too." i'd like to think i'm somewhere decent with what i'm capable of, but i'll let others be the judge of that.

in the end, it's definitely him that inspired me to see what exactly i could do when it came to creating gifs and even machinima in ffxiv. i highly recommend checking out his blog and going through his gifs, because they're way better optimized than mine (i still don't know how he does it), and shouldn't take five years and then some to load for some people.

but yeah, all of those down there? all of them inspired by him and me going, "i want to do something like that." maybe one day i'll make more. but brio and ktisis have got to start cooperating with me again.
