Dom 100 / Дом 100, 2020 “Dom 100" is a speculation about living outside the city, conscious consumption of materials, resources, and spaces.
Due to the lack of a specific site, the house is designed to fit into a plot of 20 by 30 meters, what is the most common the size of plots in the Moscow suburbs. Designing the external image of the house, we were inspired by the rough and archaic buildings of the suburban Moscow region. Finishing material of the walls allows the house to get lost among the environment, however, due to its deliberately simple and expressive form, he emphasizes his special status. The house is made of four basic materials - concrete blocks, zinc, birch wood and plaster. In contrast to the raw external image the interior is warm and welcoming. The interior is made of wood in combination with bright colors. The space is divided into living area and private areas with clear devision.
The living room space occupies the main part of the house rising to the very ridge of the roof.
Bedrooms and bathroom hidden in wooden volume above which the mezzanine is located from where you can see the living room space and watch the outside world through the skywell.
