The characters of the Storm King and Queen Novo are from the MLP movie…but of course are very repurposed here.

Some info on this family:

- Before his corruption by dark magic, Discord was a unicorn, not an Alicorn

- King Tornadus embodies inclement weather, and Queen Novo embodies the sea. Tornadus was the one who raised Luna and Celestia

- Luna and Celestia became Alicorns after casting down King Tornadus from his tyrannical throne

- Queen Novo and King Tornadus are the first known Alicorns to exist; both of their whereabouts are currently unknown

- Tornadus was incredibly hard on his daughters, forcing them to hone their skills day and night… until he feared they would usurp him

Sunburst is always busy with his studies of random things. Sometimes to the point he will work himself to the bone and fall asleep where he's sat.

Bringing a pillow to lean on may not have been the best idea as he simply fell asleep a lot faster. But hey, even the smartest unicorns need a break.
