Time To Prepare.
Monday 22nd February 2021 High Tide 07:52!!
My favourite time to fish has gotta be the early mornings i love watching the sun rise. Don’t think there is a time more peaceful in a day so gotta prepare!
Pack of Squid, Bluey and Lug picking up today. Gotta get my new reels ready Penn Fathom 2 Casting Specials got my new Mainline come through so gotta get that ready today too.. All the prep just gets me more excited for tomorrow.
Proper nice flattie i got the other week. Had nothing but whiting for the day and right near the end of the session i put my second rod away and just kept fishing the one while i slowly started to wrap up and because of the wind i missed the bite so didnt realise this was on the end of my rod when i brought it in.
Last little Bass i caught last month. Been pretty slow recently but seen the past week some biggens coming out time to get back out there Monday morning see whats happening.

Got a brand new set of reels the Penn Fathoms 2 Casting Specials. From the start i wanted to get some 18lb mainline on the reel and i gotta admit that little grip ive circled on the reel with no writing.. dont really like it made it feel uncomfortable the first couple of wraps but once your through that first bit its pretty comfortable it holds a ridiculous amount of line so you wont be noticing it.
I plan to go out the weekend try them out see what the Magnetic Braking System is all about... my first reels with the mag feature trying to understand how it could benefit but some people swear by them.

Learning To Use a Multiplier.
You know Lockdown is getting to you when you decide to make a Tumblr purely to just type what your thinking about at the time. I mainly think about Fishing so this makes sense to me.
I started to use a multiplier around a year ago now. I started with a couple of Fladdens with a level wind and it is a shocking reel! Put it this way if you went on Amazon right now and typed in “Multiplier Reel” they will definetly be the very first one that shows up.. Don’t buy it.
If your a beginner though i gotta admit they do the job even with such a bad reel ive never thought about going back to a fixed spool again.
