      Grimsley wasn’t sure if Marshal was trying to convince him to leave or if he was just in a bad mood. Still, the gambler let it slide for the moment and gave his colleague a simple nod of his head. — Clearly the guy didn’t want to be disturbed either way.

                            I’ll make myself scarce though, you seem somewhat angry.”

    The smaller elite turned and readied himself to leave.

This atmosphere didn't help as well with th ebrief pause of silence that lingered. This feeling felt so foreign he wasn't sure exactly he was feeling. It wasn't annoyance or anger. There didn't seem to be a need for being passive aggressive so suddenly. Nothing that warranted an empty threat. Discomfort.

"The day...has just been long.                                               You aren't at fault for anything, Grimsley.             It was mine-- Excuse me..."

He wanted to speak to him--yet it felt like he may make it worse after following with a sincere apology. It was best to be in a proper state of mine before approaching him.  There was a low exhale as he stepped back to take his leave. No need in keeping the other when he was feeling a little disoriented.

That may have came off far more blunt than intended. Usually his irritation didn't exceed anything more. It's not as if they day had been a bad one, so it was a little unexplained for the snapping towards the other that wasn't anything short than normal these days.

"No one---shouldn't you be resting anyway?                                   I heard that you were most likely feeling ill today."

A hand fanned the offensive finger off that reached up to probe his nose. This man was annoying and he wanted to punch him at times though he's pretty sure his face would break into pieces.

Wasn't that a...yet it was small. Obviously a young, though Marshal can say this is the first he's ever seen a young legendary, offspring.

Marshal can't say he feels particularly too sorry for Grimsley between being some poor sap's date and most likely being a spoiled little brat as well. The fighter prays for you Norman, but at the same time look at your choices.

    Grimsley paused for a brief moment before taking the Liepard from his colleague. — It seemed she really enjoyed resting in the fighting masters chambers for some reason. 

    "She….didn’t rip anything again ;;

                                                 did she?”

  "Try and keep up with her.                  She's more than surprises me when I awake from sleep."

He didn't understand the felines fascination with getting in his bed. Marshal would have thought her master's bed would have been far more comfortable. His bed was nothing fancy in the least. If it wasn't his bed  she came at other times seeming to want his undivided attention. Much like someone else. "Nothing this time she just hogged my bed even after I                                                     attempted to shoo her off."

     In all fairness, Marshall did claim Grimsley for the next few hours and he had to do as his fighting friend said, like it or not.

  A debatable statement.

Then again Marshal isn't exactly a avid drinke ror social one at that, plus Grimsley tended to have unusual times to be drinking at certain points during the day. He did have concerns with the other, but he hardly voiced them since Grimsley wasn't a complete idiot, still--he didn't want anyone to damage their body in the long run.

Royalty AU ||Closed to Riggeddice

With evening approaching, things were finally settling down. All the mare pokemon were well fed and groomed with the usual care by the care taker. That merely left the clean up process. Not a easy task, but one he was use to despite the sweat that formed on his brow and chest from the movement of carrying and stacking heavy crates along the wall with tossing hay in each table for the pokemon. Muscles flexing and tensing with each motion made to make sure things were maintained. A hand raised scratching the back of his head. Fingers feeling the new growth of hair on the back of his head.

Not that one always had the time to always groom themselves when there were always tasks that needed to be done. The pitchfork in hand was stabbed into the earth to let it reside there standing right up for the time being.
