oh how i miss the simplicity of the first game.

#fnaf #five nights at freddys #i mean the first game was full of theories and all #nothing was really confirmed #it wasnt considered overdone and it brought new elements #not to say the current/last three games weren't creative and unique in their own rights #but now it seems as if the whole timeline is fucked and things are jumbled and make no sense #although i have my personal theories about the matter which i feel have some logic to them #either way #i like fnaf4 but i cant help but to miss fnaf as it was... where everythign was so simple

Thinking about FNAF 4

FNAF 1: news paper clippings speak of 5 kids who were lured into a back room by a mascot and killed. Phone Guy even mentions the bite of ‘87 and the person/kid lived

FNAF 2: The year is 1987 and the new animatronics have been active for two weeks now and Phone guy tells us that the old characters were being used for scrap due to the horrible smell coming from them. Toy animatronics are scrapped after ‘possible malfunctions’.

FNAF 3: The fate of the Purple Man who killed those children is revealed as he died inside the Spring Bonnie suit. The 6 children he killed has had their revenge.

FNAF 4: A fatal bite happens in 1983 at Fredbear family diner as four older kids shoved a little boy’s head into Fredbear’s mouth. The Toy Animatronics toys are being sold along with the older characters.

This makes no sense since the Toy Animatronics were not made until '87 as remakes of the older character, making them 'Super Kid Friendly’. Not to mention that Spring Bonnie was there at Fredbear’s side on stage back in '83. If the Purple man lured 5 kids into the back room, who’s the fifth child who was clearly marked in the give life mini game in FNAF 2? If the Purple Man wanted revenge for whatever reason that theories are saying, then why did he lure a fifth child into the back room who wasn’t there when the incident of '83 happened, and why did he take a 6th life outside of the restaurant? (first crying child) To top it all off, the kid you’re playing has a completely different bedroom and house layout than the boy in the mini games, also his foxy still has his head while in the mini game it’s completely gone.

What I love the most about the FNAF story and lore is that you’re never given a straight answer. Just when you think you’ve gotten it all figured out, something comes up and makes you rethink everything, leaving the story and its meanings to your imagination.

And the greatest horror is from ones own mind.
