Jan. 28, 2016- Disembarked the cruise to tour NOLA for a few hours with the group. Such a fascinating place to explore with yummy noms.

Cozumel/ Progreso Cruise Jan. 23-28, 2016- Upgrading from AC to International Travels overseas for Cy's and Gofman's birthday celebration. Good times overall with nonstop drinking and dancing. With the added bonus of excursions.

January 13-14, 2016- After work on Wednesday I had brunch at Toast with Ian, Charlene, Sarah, and Ray. Even though we got slammed with 2 admissions back to back, I still had time to chill with my coworkers and take selfies. 1 week left till vacation!

January 12, 2016- With my RN squad. Love them all to pieces when we get/give report. I know they'll always have my back.

January 8, 2016- Cath Lab Party with the coworkers. Doctors got TURNT up, I danced, and drank it was an awesome night with my second family. Love them so much!

January 7, 2016- Coffee date with @hartmek and Bri. Miss these girls so much. Updated each other on our lives and what's to come.

January 3, 2016- Dinner with the coworkers on my day off. Good times with some fun people and chats.

Hello 2016....

2015 has come and gone, now it’s time to start a new year. To be honest, I think I’m very proud of how far I’ve come. I went from being worried about going to work, to being more semi-confident about where I stand. From dependent, to fully independent, and most importantly- learning more and more about myself than I could ever imagine. Sure, I still have walls to break down and battles to be fought, but there’s a time and place for all of that. I guess this is where I’ll start my New Year’s Resolutions:

1- Be more transparent.

2- Smile more.

3- Continue to be adventurous, specifically travel more. 

4- Cook more at home.

5- Spend more times with others/ meet new people. 

I guess a good place to start is at work and on my vacation in a 3 weeks.

December 31, 2015- January 1, 2016- Rang in the new year with my coworkers because it was my turn to work the holiday. Still rang in 2016 with a bang though. Take a look at my replacement for NYE because I couldn't be at my family's party.

December 30, 2015- Cleaned up my room for the new year and did all my laundry. Got around to putting up Tino's Christmas gift. Am I tumblr/Pinterest yet?

December 29, 2015- It was a day of reflection and I'm really proud of how far I've come. From passing the NCLEX, walking on the field for graduation, going on adventures, and starting my job as a RN. It's been a wild ride. Cheers to sticking to this project for a year and growing as a person, 2016- I'm coming for ya!

December 28, 2015- So my insomnia kicked in and it really kicked into high gear. To which I trumped it by cleaning my room and cooking food for the family. Texted Kim all night to keep her company as her night got swamped with admissions.
