with the violent murder of vertigo in 2020 and the quiet bait and switch that was black label where they decided everyone wanted more batslop and superslop (who is wonder woman does anyone know her?) but with “not 4 kids” tacked on it i thought we may be able to squeeze a little bit more out of sandman and related media with live action adaptations than about 3 seasons of content, we were granted no such pleasantries due to ne*l ga*man’s atrocities
pls support new vertigo releases from ur local comic shops and maybe someone down the line will hear our calls and give us a 4 issue limited, the imprint was revived recently and black label returned to its original calling, which i’m pretty sure is js evil versions of regular runs idk i don’t read mainline
sandman is a dc property, we can send him to the shame corner for eternity and still enjoy the content that miraculously appeared before us and was written by no one
but we cannot do this if nobody is reading (and purchasing!!) the comics because no one knows there are comics
and, perhaps in all of this, u may discover other offspring of the sandman universe u enjoy in a similar fashion
do not let me scream into the void, read the comics, live the comics, love the comics, achieve a higher state of dead boy detectives being and reach dead boy detectives nirvana
