ăLoki, uh.ă
The name of a god. Unluckily for her, Ada perfectly knew who Loki was, as the education she received also implied hours and hours spent on myths and legends of different cultures. It might be a bit unusual to be called Loki, in Japan, but it was not impossible nor forbidden. However, as the other kept on talking, the woman understood that there was more to that.
He was implying being Loki, not only sharing his name. Admittedly, their conversation was going way too smoothly, for Ada not to be suspicious about him: she had been talking all along about paranormal events, in a subtle way of course, however never he stuttered nor stopped to question the real meaning behind certain details; quite the contrary, he encouraged her. After all, why doubting? Talking to a god was not the weirdest thing that ever happened to her.
ăOh, no, Iâm not interested at all, please. I want to take a break from thatâkind of things. A long break. My last meeting with a god was not this pleasant.ă
Not interested?
Loki wasnât sure if he was relieved or... well, actually it was a bit of a relief. Intrigue, too. The man chuckles and flashes the woman a friendly grin.
âUnderstood.â It might seem strange for the deity to take a simple âno thanksâ as an answer (even if he hadnât fully offered), but someone who did not wish to open their heart to his particular motives was not the sort of contractor he needed.Â
That didnât mean he couldnât still push at other buttons for a while though. He was dreadfully curious now.
âWhat I mean to say is... you sound like you have some interesting stories. Iâd like to hear them, if youâd share. Over coffee, perhaps? I know a place.â
â... when did it become October?â
//- me: i should make a new theme also me: nah iâm too tired.
' Loki. What are other things humans do during the summer? I recall going to a festival once at night. '
âHmm... letâs see. There are a lot of âsummerâ activities one can take part in.âÂ
Not all of them were commonplace however and Loki himself was still catching up on modern-day activities. However he had a feeling the alien creature would not understand if Loki were to make a joke of it.
âYes, there are a lot of festivals in the summer. Going to the beach is popular, although crowded.. ah, and there are rooftop beer gardens that open up. My favorite is finding foods you can only eat during the summer and having cold drinks on warm nights. It reminds me of back home, just a little.â

i hate how reward systems never work for me like i canât just say âif i finish this assignment i can have a cookieâ bc my brain is like ââŚ..or u could just have one right nowâ and i canât argue with that logic
Self-imposed deadlines donât work either because I know the guy who set them and heâs full of shit
missredtieâ:
SomeoneâŚon her side. That was hard to answer.Â
There never was anyone supporting her plan. Not even that goddess was actually on her side: no, she was above her, using Adaâs feelings and desires as catalysts for her own personal revenge. Of course, there was no point in denying that their objectives basically overlapped, but in retrospect, she was nothing but a mere pawn. She really was a dumb woman.
On the other hand ⌠maybe there had been a couple of people standing by her. They didnât know about her motifs, they knew nothing about the truth, but were surprisingly ⌠supportive. Those people would have probably called themselves âfriendsâ. But Ada didnât know, Ada wasnât capable of understanding bonds nor cherish them. Hence, those very friends turned in to enemies. Again, a dumb woman.
Did she regret all of it, thought? ⌠not entirely. She still felt that it was something she had to try; probably with a couple of changes.
ăWell ⌠maybe. But we werenât on the same wavelength. And they left me, eventuallyâtotally understandable, to be honest. I would have done the same.ă
ăYes, lots about me, but nothing about you. Would you at least care to share your name?ă
âLeft you? I wonder...â
Loki could only guess the meaning of those words. Did they betray her, or did she betray them? Did it honestly matter? The kind of fickle loyalty people shared was the same between Aesir and humans, Loki was well aware of that by now. He was far too clever to fall for that shtick twice and thus these days was loathe to trust anyone.
There was the matter then of what name to give her. He had a few he kept for talking to mortals, a handful of Japanese names to fit in, but he had a feeling someone who had already dealt with various spirits would find out his identity sooner or later.
Best to be honest upfront, for once.
âYou can call me Loki. Whether or not you believe that is my name is up to you.â He shrugs playfully before clasping his hands behind his back. âIf you want I could give you the whole spiel, but I donât just hand out contracts these days. Iâm more... window shopping, you could say.â

âDude, if I can forgive Rebecca for committing genocide in my name after seeing her clearly regretting it all, Iâm sure that I can keep a positive outlook on you,â Astrid replied with a smile. It was good to see that Loki was willing to be accepting of Astridâs kindness.
Now that they were finally past that initial part, Astrid mentioned, âNow then, Iâll admit I havenât had much chance to have some fun in a while. Too many things to do back home, so I like to spend some time away from where I live to recuperate. Donât want to suffer from burnout again like last time. What might there be to do around here for fun?â
âFun, fun...â
Loki had far too many definitions of âfunâ that would likely not fit in with the âwholesomeâ image this goddess gave off. That just made it all the more difficult to come up with something that was truly entertaining but not, well, endangering.
âAh, I know! Why not come along and collect some fruit? I was going to pick some to boil and candy.â For what reason heâd keep his lips sealed however. Heavens forbid anyone picked up on him delivering candied fruit to children, itâd ruin his image forever.
âIf you find that boring though I guess you could always go drink. Aesir drink a lot, you see.â
//- even if thereâs no p1/p2 showcased for PQ2... Hamuko... ;;

Astrid couldnât help but giggle. Seemed that Loki wasnât quite aware of his status among Midgardians then. Then again, she was technically from the future, she guessed.  âEh, letâs just say that the Aesir arenât viewed as just people among the folks of Midgard,â she declared.  âTo them, youâre gods, which is pretty accurate, all things considered. You may not understand it right now, but youâll see that folks do count you among them at some point.â
Deciding to get off that topic, she then mentioned, âBut besides all of that, the point is that I generally donât get uppity about stuff like that. From what I understand the Aesir have a pretty negative view about you because of that whole âRagnarokâ thing that theyâre all trying to prevent in the absolute worst way possible. I feel like the Aesir really need to be tutored in what counts as a self-fulfilling prophecy, but whatever.â
Shrugging off the topic, Astrid then added, âBesides, you seem like a decent person just from this conversation. Really, as long as what you do isnât done purely out of malicious intent, you generally wonât hear me beating down your door because of it. I donât like to get angry at people and start berating them because they did a thing and it had pretty negative consequences. We all do stuff like that sometimes, nobodyâs perfect, let alone the gods.â
âPretty negative view, huh?â
A dry laugh from Loki as he shakes his head. Understatement of the year, and after how much good heâd done for them too. At the very least it seemed she wasnât going to start getting all judgmental on him and for that he was slightly grateful to the universe. Last thing he needed was another person harping on his behaviour.
âIt varies. I just think itâd be better if everyone loosened up a little. Or maybe, yâknow, thanked me when I fix things around this place. Hell, even standing up for me once in a while would be a nice change of pace.â
That wouldnât change now though. Heâd already done the unforgivable in orchestrating Baldrâs death and clouded himself with hatred further - but that wasnât his fault, he swore it. They could have prevented that if theyâd not been so annoying about it. Baldr this, Baldr that -- ah, but his thoughts were straying again. He turns back to Astrid with a smile, quickly changing track from his anger back to the person who was right in front of him.
âItâs fine though. I do appreciate the sentiment. Itâs good to know itâs not just Sigyn who can see something in me. Just donât go changinâ your mind, alright?â
flaracr replied to your post: Iâm so fucking exhausted but bls hmu if u wannaâŚ
i still know nothing about the idol boys but loki will pester an idol someday
Yuuuuuaaaaannn !! Just the fact that youâre following my old man of an idol boy makes me happy

Satanael was smiling now and while that smile never went away. His gun appeared in his hand. Yeah, Itâd be best to run since it was pointed at Loki now. âHahaha, I see, I see. So itâs the same as usual then.â
And heâs going to start shooting now. One has to wonder what goes through Shadeâs mind if his persona is this trigger happy when annoyed.
Heâs gone. The second the gun showed up Loki decides to get the hell out of there.
And so he bolted as fast as possible because he knows Satanael doesnât joke around.
Also the last time really hurt.
oracleblossom:
âJokeâs on you. That guy owes me lunch so you better pay up, scrub.â
âDammit! I can cook lunch if you want something but Iâm broker than Goro-kun!â
âLoki what are you doing using his face?!â Satanael is the opposite of happy. So nothing new in regards to how he feels when Loki is around.
âTeasing Futaba, why?â Heâs very much considering running away fast at this point. Very, very fast. He doesnât want to be shot at again.
oracleblossom:
âMaybe. Do you ever censor that ugly-ass face of yours? âŚThat was a swear, wasnât it?â
âOoooh, yes and yes! In fact, I can make it far more pleasing if youâd like.â
âIs this better~?â
