Quentin smiled contentedly before kissing Olivia’s hands shyly. “I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
I promise you won’t ever have to know.
Frost couldn’t help but chuckle. “You don’t need to insult my intelligence, Miss Hall.” He rumbled, easing back into his chair. “We both know my classes were too much for you.”
I had the highest overall grade in my class. You know I didn’t struggle with the material
.
“They drive me about as batty as you remember in the past, I just deal with it better.” Frost snuffed, rubbing his red and irritated eyes. “And how are you coming along in your courses, since you’ve decided you’re much too good for my lectures?”
“I only needed one of your classes for my major. Attending any others would have been unnecessary.”
Quentin couldn’t help smiling between Olivia’s soft and inviting lips. “You’re really far too good to me than I deserve.”
“You deserve it. You have no need to be so hard on yourself.”
“That–” Frost nearly tripped over an unfortunately placed bottle before kicking it out of the way. “That won’t be necessary, Miss Hall. Please sit.” He gestured towards her usual sitting place in front of his desk.
“How are you? Your classes, are they going well?”
Quentin made a face. “You.. You promise you’re not mad at me?” He asked hesitantly, with sadness in his eyes.
“I promise,” Olivia said, giving him a kiss.
That should have been our New Years Resolution. A cleaner semester.
It should have been but…we picked eating more chocolate
“...I regret nothing...”
The fire behind his eyes still burned as he blinked and attempted to stand, clutching his desk as he did so. Frost rubbed his irritated eyes while attempting to maintain a smooth and somewhat ordinary conversation. “Miss Hall, I am, uhh.. Out of sorts.. Groggy, you understand.. Please, wait..” Clarence didn’t understand why he was so intent on seeing Olivia. But it has been a very long time.
”Are you sure? You look out of sorts. I can come back another time.”
“That’s honestly no excuse.” Quentin took Olivia’s hands into his own. “Look, I’ll- I’ll make a couple calls and see if I can organize what I had planned to do tonight. I’ll make it up to you, I swear.”
“Okay, I’ve got a clear schedule.”
“Alright, before you kill me, I feel like I should have the chance to explain myself. First, it was a Sunday this year, and I was off campus, so I had no idea. Secondly, I swear, I DID have a plan for what we could do, I just completely lost track of time, I need a calendar in my studio, you’re amazing and more gorgeously beautiful than I deserve, okay, you can kill me now.”
It's alright. I know you've been busy. That's why I didn't say anything.
“Valentine’s Day is coming up, right?.. Wait.. What day is it? OH NO, IT.. IT WAS SUNDAY!!” Quentin exclaimed, pure fear and dread crossing his face in one horrible moment. He began pacing back and forth, muttering to himself nervously.
"Indeed, it was Sunday."
Q: Bored to tears in Professor Frost's class. Help. Me.
O: Should have taken it last semester with me.
That should have been our New Years Resolution. A cleaner semester.
Frost opened his eyelids. As he did, the realization dawned that he had been asleep for an unknown amount of time. His mouth dry and his lips crackled as he moved them, he attempted to combine what he had done earlier. His eyes burned, as if open for an extended period of time. Frost glanced towards the fireplace in front of his desk, and only embers smoked in the hearth. He groaned as he lifted himself to lean back against his armchair. Shattered liqueur bottles lay scattered around the hearth.
Jonathan.
Something moved near the doorway. Impulsively, he shouted, “Not now.Come back later.”
“i’m sorry, I didn’t know it would be a bad time. Your office hours...I can come back.”
Damn it I lost my school books
We can find them! Don't worry. Just need to tidy this up a little and I'm sure we will find them.
“Not at all! You have the prettiest voice.”
“I suppose you must be tired of hearing it”
No, it's nice. I always know when my sweet roommate is around.
Singing in the chilly air Ariana laid on the grass she sighed when she heard a familiar voice “Sorry was I singing too loud?” She asked opening one eye.
"Not at all! You have the prettiest voice."
