“Distanti”, 2020 Le distanze, sia che ci vengano imposte o che siano volontarie, ci offrono la possibilità di assumere una nuova prospettiva su ciò che ci circonda. Una situazione straordinaria diventa ordinaria e viceversa, i dettagli del quotidiano assumono una differente sfumatura. Così succede anche con i media che consumiamo mentre siamo 'distanti' nello spazio (dai nostri cari) e nel tempo (dal nostro vecchio io): i libri, le canzoni ed i film hanno un nuovo valore ai nostri occhi e ci raccontano persino ciò che stiamo vivendo, mostrandoci associazioni a noi ignote fino a quel momento. 'Distanti' è una serie di sette poster, realizzati ed installati su un balcone privato modenese durante la quarantena. Ogni manifesto è stato dapprima realizzato su un A4(210 × 297 mm), poi è stato digitalizzato, sezionato e stampato fogli riciclati, successivamente rifilati ed assemblati con nastro adesivo.
“Distant”, 2020 The distances, both when they come from the outside or from the inside, offer us a new perspective about everything that surrounds us. An extraordinary situation becomes ordinary and viceversa, the mundane details gain a different shade. The same happens with the media that we consume while we are 'apart' in space (from our loved ones) and in time (from our older self): books, songs and movies assume a new meaning, they even tell us more about what we are experiencing by showing us meaningful associations that we ignored for a long time. 'Distant' is a series of seven posters that were made and exhibited on a private balcony in Modena during the Italian lockdown. Each poster has been created on a small scale (A4, 210x297 mm), digitalized and printed on recycled paper, later assembled with adhesive tape.
