Hi, I'm Rain. I post about Tae and Jk... Taekook. My thoughts about them aren't complicated... I think they connected instantly and fell in love later.

To me, Tae and Jk are so special: as a duo and as individuals. Both give me comfort, both make me understand myself better, both are inspirations, both make me so proud of who they are. Most of my blog is dedicated to Tae and Jk as Taekook, but I'll also always point out their individualism. To understand them as individuals makes me understand them as a duo more.

I'm also a huge BTS fan. I consider myself army and love all 7. While this is a Taekook blog, I'll most likely also be posting ot7 stuff.

New blog rule (and honestly the most important one): Don't be an asshole. I'm very open to different opinions, but I won't tolerate bullying of any kind on my blog. Whether this is in comments or in asks. I truly don't care who you are (tkkr, solo, ot7, a lurking jkkr) I will block you if you continously harrass others. I'm very aware that the comeback will be a source of strong emotions for everyone, but I also very much believe that there are ways to direct those emotions without being nasty to others. Everyone is welcome here, but you have to behave (so no name calling members, no hate towards members, no bullying of annons coming to my blog (you can be critical without being a bully)).

With this comeback we'll be getting so much content.. I already know I'm going to be very behind constantly. Please don't see me as an update account, please don't come to me with things like "why don't you post this about Jk" and "why don't you post this about Tae". There is no method to my fandom madness, I am wildy chaotic and impulsive.. what I post and when I post is very much up to how my day goes. If you let go of the idea of me having some sort of strategy, I promise everything about me will make much more sense 😂.

There is some sort of tagging system on here.. though going through some of these tags will still have you go through an insane amount of posts. Nevertheless, these are some of my tags. Especcially for some of the more senitive stuff, please read through those first.. there are some topics I've left in the past and (unless something new happens) I don't feel like discussing them over and over again.

This maybe an utterly stupid ask, that no one knows the answer to, but if jk lives full time with a friend then where does he get the privacy to spend time with tae? Vice versa too if Tae lives with a friend/relative (which we don’t know)

Jk has such a huge house he even has an elevator. I imagine the friend has his own room(s). He’d probably need/want privacy as well. Having lived with housemates myself while in a relationship, I don’t think this is an issue at all.

i'm so sorry if this comes across as ragebaiting or redundant (i'm new here idk what gets asked often). i'm a new taekooker and i found out about jkk and i get so confused when jkkers completely ignore the whole daeun thing, especially considering there was a whole official confirmation. they act like it doesn't exist or invent stuff like "they were just neighbors". so i see why jkkrs get called delusional a lot, but then i think about the thing that happened with tae in paris in 2023 and i feel like tkkrs do the same thing pretending like it never happened or collectively seeing it as a publicity stunt or edited, etc. did that thing ever get debunked. i try to look for info about it, but it's just biased fandom discourse depending on which space you're looking at. i also heard he sued someone over it but i'm not sure if that's true. ig i kinda just wanna know what's the official narrative that's not heavily warped by rumors or opinions. i know that there's definitely something between tkk no matter what, but i kind of struggle to ignore that moment in 2023 because it just doesn't make sense to me. i can't reconcile both things.

Oooh, well… you are asking a tkkr.. so my answer will be reflecting that in the way that I have looked beyond the official narrative (which doesn’t actually exist tbh, because there’s not been official mentions).

First of all, Daeun and Jm’s situation and how we got to know about it is wildly different from that of Tae and Jnn. Everything we learned about Daeunmin came from the people involved. Mostly Daeun, and the official statement (which is actually official even though Jkkrs don’t believe it since it wasn’t posted on weverse 🫠) came from Jm through the company. There’s plenty to guess at in terms of timing, length, and seriousness of their relationship… but at the very least we can say they were involved and they themselves admitted it.

Now, Taenie never came from the persons involved that way. Let me start with what’s generally believed and narrated. Opinions actually vary a bit (even without tkkrs involved). Many think actually dated and got caught in Paris. Many also think it was pr (even non tkkrs) because of obvious it was. Some think they simply didn’t care, others think they made a statement. Blinks are mad at Tae for not stepping up and army simply doesn’t want to be involved with BP. Even without tkkrs involved it was a whole shitstorm.

If I were to describe tnnie, the one word that keeps popping up is ‘organized’. The pics dropping was organized, the papwalk was organized, the timing of spreading the Paris video was organized. And after Paris everything also stopped.. Tae posted a pic of himself wearing a Pride Disney hoody and seemingly separated himself from the narrative by untagging himself from insta posts (I was online when it happened, I swear that’s what it looked like) and he went live as soon as he was in the car after he arrived back from a flight people said he shared with her (kind of in the same vein of him going live during the BP show in LA last year). A breakup article arrived shortly before Tae enlisted.. how convenient.

The Paris walk happened a couple of days before Jnns series ‘The idol’ debuted at Cannes film festival, with Jnnie in attendance. That series needed good pr desperately, because it already got bad critiques even before it came out. Every magazine covering Jennie and her series mentioned her and Tae. Articles were basically standing at the ready to drop. Tae meanwhile also attended Cannes, looked sad in the pics, and spent almost all his time there with Bogum.

There’s a lot more to it. I’ll add tags to my posts on it at the tagline. Overall though, the two situations aren’t the same… though non tkkrs will most likely tell you different.

It seems like no matter what happens (what scandal comes out, what small comments the boys/others make about ships etc) it doesn’t really shake your belief in taekook at all. I don’t mean this sarcastically at all, truly I’m being genuine as someone who is honestly a somewhat insecure taekooker lol, but how do you remain so unmoved by everything? Like what makes you so so strong in your beliefs that no matter what really happens you’re not shaken?

I mean, to me it seems like a lot of stuff is just fandom push and shenanigans and I filter that out. Yesterday’s Jk moment to me didn’t mean he denied him and Tae being together. The wkk stuff to me is mostly fandom push.

Ofcourse some things give me pause. For instance, when I saw Tae and Jnnie walk in Paris I did have to process, but I also always allow time for things to play out.. because what looks one way in the moment may look very different the next day. The tattoo situation is something I’m watching and seeing how it pans out.

I know how fandoms work. I know how media works. I have a pretty solid understanding of Tae and Jk and the way they react and interact with each other, but also the way they interact with fans and other shit. I like to take a broader look at things, so the smaller stuff doesn’t do much to me anyways. I don’t know, I think it’s mostly me following my gut feeling aided by my understanding of the situation.

The one thing that never changes is the way Tae and Jk are together and to me that also just means a lot.

Uhm… anon… this is a weird ask. Why would it be a shame if Jk lets a friend live with him for free? Jk is someone who takes care of those he loves and values. He’s also a multi millionaire, so I think he can do so without even noticing it 🤨.

So what if he helps our his friend? So what if it’s not even to help his friend out, but simply because he enjoys having him there?

Except they do address themselves by their unit name?

They used it many times, like other duos also had. So I don't think he doesn't associate the ship name to them as a pair, regardless their relationship status.

Oh anon… I think there’s a wild difference in the way they’d use Taekook in fandom and the way they see themselves in private. Sure he recognizes the name as it meaning him and Tae, but in his actual private relationship with Tae the name ‘taekook’ is probably never used.

So when Jk reads a comment ‘Jkk or tkk’ he’d know people are asking him which is real, but it still would remind him of fandom stuff. I think it’s probably an odd kind of situation to him that can only be explained (by me) as different realities crashing into each other.

All marriages in Nevada are public information. The records cannot be sealed; anyone can request them. I believe it is the same in all other states in the U.S.

There’s also something odd in thinking Jk (and Jm and Tae) think of themselves in terms of Jkk and Taekook. No, that’s a fandom thing. To them they’re Jk, Tae and Jm as individuals. Sure if Jk and Tae are together the way we suspect they’ll see themselves as a couple, but they won’t be talking about themselves as a couple in terms of Taekook.
