as i am scrolling through the lori tag and seeing people explain why they hate her, i am getting closer and closer to posting a full blown rant about how people clearly don’t know shit and how she is antagonized when she shouldn’t be.

his admission caused her to smile a little to herself, even if only the smallest of smiles, and lori brought up the glass to her lips once again, taking a sip of the red liquid, an indicative hum that she was going to speak leaving her as she lowered the glass once again. but the words didn’t come out right away... she hated thinking about what she’d done, but the problem was, it never left her. “ well, i won’t tell them anything. ” she decided to start with, offering him a knowing smile before she glanced down to her glass, watching the liquid as she swirled it gently.

“ i... i think that’s probably more forgivable than my mistakes. at the start of all this... when the dead had started walking but none of us really knew what was going on or knew the gravity of things... well, before the start of it, maybe a couple weeks before, rick --- he was shot. he was a cop, and he got shot on some chase and ended up in a coma. when everything started going wrong, shane, a friend of ours, he’d gone to the hospital to get him but he thought that rick was dead. that’s what he told me anyway. and... i just felt like i’d died with him... ” she was probably making things much heavier than eric would want, and she’d apologize afterwards. but maybe... maybe it would actually be nice to tell, to confide in someone who hadn’t been there through it all. “ if felt nothing... and shane was there, and he helped me keep carl safe, helped us find others... carol, daryl... but i was stupid. so stupid... ” her eyes flickered over to judith, sleeping, she knew the truth, but judith was ricks, it didn’t matter. rick was raising her, she was rick’s. “ i ruined my marriage, my family, because i was weak and stupid. ”
