Maldine is an Emon,

short for a demon, being a lesser demon race in her world. She is one of the many servants to the Demon princess, Kelia Levure, of whom is currently in the midst of attempting to break out of the arrange marriage set in place by the Queen and King of demon kind and the Deities of the Shadow world, she is to be wed with the shadow prince Leus Selspite a character of whom I have to also draw a new character model for. But why does this all matter for Maldine, you may ask? She was caught in the middle of a planned abduction by a retired elven soldier of the Dark war, in hopes of getting information about the rumored engagement, in which the assassination of the shadow prince will take place. Maldine, however, was not one of the right-hand servants of the Demon royalty, though she'd have to pretend, as it may cost her, her life.

Gria is a retired elven soldier present within the skylands, baring a resentment left unhealed after the dark war between elven kind and the shadow world, he has now graced the ground again to take the life of the one who laid his comrades to rest, after being apart from the surface for a long while, he had grown unfamiliar with the customs of the new world. That was then he took hostage a Poor Emon servant of the princess, that will not only familarize him with the new world but will possibily grant him the ability to take out the Prince of shadows.
