@floatingbutt-blog
he's almost being a dog right now
he's been watching me for the past 20 minutes
[i haven't had food for about 15 of those 20 minutes but he refuses to accept that]
I’m gonna pop some tags
I got twenny dollas in my pock-et
That was a bit of a heavy post. Let's lighten things up with a .gif of my dog closing the dishwasher.
I was just laying in front of the fire and he came to hang out with me.
I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE THIS UNTIL JUST NOW JFC
I set my alarm for 8:00, and came to check on Cas this morning; he was sleeping right where I left him. I set my alarm again for 10:30, went back to sleep, and came to find him still nestled in his box.
And then when I got up at noon, I found that my parents had set up the entire bathroom so he could hop around. They gave him a hay box, a hiding box, and put towels on the floor so he could explore as much as he wanted.
He's been drinking from his bottle every few minutes, but has otherwise been spending almost all of his time in the hay box, eating.
Mom has changed her tune about him, because she was mad at me for bringing him home last night in the first place. She even included this in a post on Facebook this morning:
I am ashamed to admit that I first saw it as an annoyance and a disruption, but I have no doubt that she saved a little life last night.
She still intends for him to go to the Humane Society when they open tomorrow, but there's still time to convince her that he should stay here. Maybe I'll just ask if we can foster him until he's big enough to go live with other buns, because he is still really tiny. I know she'll fall in love with him if we keep him another month.
I also checked, and I'm about 75% sure it's a little boy. Not positive, but we'll find out soon.
I am, however, sure that he's a Netherland dwarf. He made his first angry Boobin face at my dad today.
NO. YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. LOOK AT HIS PRECIOUS WIDDLE FACE.
Have you ever had a baby or small child fall asleep somewhere other than their own bed, and then you're trying to quietly move them to their bed without waking them up, and then you trip or knock something over and they jump awake and go, "OH, LET'S PLAY! I'M AWAKE NOW! YAY! I'M NEVER FALLING ASLEEP AGAIN!", or something like that?
Yeah.
I sneezed.
Cas thought it was snuggle time. And I couldn't resist that face. So I just held him for about half an hour and now he is safely tucked in, in his box, with the x-pen around it, everything picked up off of the floor, and two baby gates blocking the doorway of the bathroom where he's at.
I wrote out detailled instructions for my mother on how to take care of him [y'know, because she'll be up for maybe three hours that I'm in bed], and now I'm going to go get a couple hours of rest.
He keeps peeking out at me, like he's scared I'm going to leave.
I think he's upset that Cas is getting all of my attention, because he's usually my main focus at night.
Stretchy Cas.
Cas is taking a nap.
He is a bun of the lord.
Washing his ears.
