I know I'm late to the party but um... Plagueround OC!
Riki Nishida he/him 西田 樹
Birthday: 17th January Age: 11 Class: Ranger Str: 14 Dex: 16 Con: 11 Int: 13 Wis: 14 Cha: 13 Curse: Parts of his body fall off when he's shocked or overwhelmed.
Irritable, a bit bossy, badly wants to be taken seriously
HATES his curse
Actually quite sensitive
Was made fun of for his curse
Quite insightful sometimes
Riki! Angry boy! Cries easily! HATES that he cries easily! HATES his curse! His curse first manifested when his class was getting yelled at and he got so stressed he just fell apart. Crumbled to the floor. Ever since, some people in his class went out of their way to surprise him and trigger his curse, and others protected him rather patronisingly. And all of this made him very irritable. He hates being seen as weak, and he hates that his curse only makes it more obvious. He hated getting "special treatment" from the teachers. He's quite sensitive to things like loud noises, crowded spaces, and being confronted or criticised. He hopes that if he can make himself seem confident and unshakable enough, he'll stop being so sensitive. Fake it til you make it! Or something like that...
Other things...
I forgot to write it on the ref sheet but his body reattaches on it's own, think Dry Bones from Mario
He really likes reading murder mystery books.
He used to go to a swimming club.
His favourite subjects are English and French.
He has two pet rabbits called Tiger and Shark at home.
He has sharp teeth because his curse is based (loosely) on lizards dropping their tails, even though it's kinda not as obvious now, the teeth stuck. I made his stats with Dragonborn traits because of this, kinda like how iirc Monty was technically a Half-Orc (I don't have the patreon so I haven't seen the character sheet but he had relentless endurance I think)
西田 (Nishida) literally means west (西) rice field (田), I just chose it based on vibes though. 樹 (riki), the kanji literally means tree, but a living, standing tree as opposed to 木 which is more general and includes wood as well. It brings to mind like an ancient, massive tree. As a name it suggests strength, vitality, independence and an unwavering sense of self.
He's a ranger because focusing on aiming his bow means he doesn't get as overwhelmed, which would mean triggering his curse and nobody wants that happening out on The Plagueround
Very reluctant to tell people his curse at St Churnley's
But later comes to accept it as a part of him? Especially when he realises with his classmates that having detachable limbs is actually very useful
He wears the uniform buttoned up so his limbs don't fly as far
here are the bunnies
