The writings of H.P.Lovecraft are a huge inspiration. Here is a personal painting of how I picture Cthulhu coming to strike terror in some unsuspecting town. I wanted to change up the design alittle bit as I find the fat man with an octopus head alittle trite and wanted to have something more alien and ambiguous.
