MODERN GREEK MYTHOLOGY AU
HADES & PERSEPHONE: so many possibilities with this?? modern day high school hades and persephone where he is the dark and broody loner and she’s the sunshine-y good girl. where he’s the outcast because he acts differently than most and everyone is intimidated by him. where she’s the one everyone loves and she’s always so friendly to everyone and then they get partnered up for a biology project and start to spend more time together. not everyone is happy with their budding romance, especially sephie’s mother. or even modern day adult hades and persephone where he runs a massive crime empire and persephone is his loving wife who is as deadly as her husband is.
APHRODITE & HEPHAESTUS: give me aphrodite; a model who has affair after affair with various people and hephaestus, her husband who owns a company that creates various weapons and tools. who gets sick and tired of his wife’s affairs. who reminds aphrodite about the sanctity of marriage and that despite their own marriage being arranged, doesn’t mean that she shouldn’t respect him. give me hephaestus and aphrodite going to marriage counselling and trying to work things out
APOLLO & ARTEMIS: give me modern day apollo who is a musician, an artist, a poet and is also interested in medicine. who is overprotective of his younger twin artemis, who is an activist and feminist. give me the two of them eventually realizing their feelings for one another and trying to hide it from the rest of the gods. give me the sneaking around and the playful and gentle kisses under the moon light. give me apollo writing songs and poetry and creating art for artemis. gimme this please
HADES & HESTIA: give me a modern day hades and hestia, where they’re the children of one of the most rich and powerful couples in the country. where he’s with persephone, the sweetest socialite, but all he could think of is his sister, hestia. hestia with fire in her eyes and hope in her heart, who is the only one who understands why hades is the way he is. give me the two of them sneaking around at parties hosted by their family and making love to each other under the moonlight. give me hades who is soft yet at the same time, deadly and protective around hestia. give me hestia who is kind and soft-spoken yet would do anything to see hades happy.
gimme exes that dated back when they were in high school that had a horrible breakup and haven’t spoken in years nor have they seen each other since the breakup. where muse a is getting married only to find out that their fiance’s childhood friend ( and future best man/maid of honour) is none other than muse b, their ex. their fiance has no clue that the two used to date and so there’s tension between muse a and muse b. neither one of them would admit out loud that they still have feelings for one another. there’s the angst of not knowing how the other feels about them, but they keep having these moments where they almost kiss until they finally do and it leads to them sleeping together. cue the sneaking around behind muse a’s fiance’s back and the angst when muse a is reluctant to leave their fiance for muse b.
give me exes that were best friends before they even got together. muse a breaks up with muse b because they can no longer find the ‘spark’ between them and asks if they can remain friends. muse b agrees, as they are still in love with muse a, but they quickly realize just how hard it is to be friends with the ex you’re still in love with, especially one who constantly asks you for advice about the new person they’re seeing

i need a plot where muse a, muse b and muse c are all best friends and have been for years. where muse a is in love with muse b, but muse b is oblivious to their feelings and only ever sees muse a as a friend. muse a is heartbroken over muse b constantly, especially whenever muse b gets a new partner. muse c on the other hand, has been in love with muse a for years but has kept their feelings quiet because they know that muse a is in love with muse b. there’s a lot of ways to go with this?? like muse a and muse b eventually get together and muse c is stuck watching the person they love be with someone else. or muse a is moving on from muse b and muse c is about to tell muse a of their feelings but something stops them every time ( ie; muse a getting a new partner, muse a just breaking up with their partner or for more angst; muse a getting engaged to their partner ).
i also need a plot where muse a and muse b are best friends, with muse a being in love with muse b and has been for ages. it’s pretty obvious to everyone but muse b that muse a is in love with them. when muse b gets engaged to their partner, muse a is heartbroken but tries to be happy for them regardless. they obviously get invited to the wedding and they go for muse b, but find that it’s too hard to watch the person they love get married to someone else. so, muse a leaves halfway through the ceremony and leaves the city/country to try to get away from muse b and their obviously unrequited feelings. a year later, muse a comes back and runs into muse b, who is not at all happy to see them after leaving so suddenly and not contacting them within the year they were gone.
or even this plot where muse a is muse b’s best friend’s ex. muse a and the best friend dated in the past but broke up when they met muse b’s cousin ( muse a didn’t know the connection between the two at the time ). muse a is still in love with their ex and despite their ex being engaged to their partner, agrees to be the wedding planner for the wedding. now muse a and muse b had never gotten along. or rather, muse b always found ways to annoy muse a and muse a could never put up with their antics and thinks that muse b doesn’t think them good enough for their best friend, when in reality it was the opposite. muse b had seen muse a before their best friend had and harboured a crush on muse a even when they were with their best friend. though it had hurt muse b to see muse a with their best friend, they kept quiet about their feelings because they saw how happy muse a was so they tried to move on, but failed. as more and more wedding planning occurred, muse a and muse b are forced to spend a lot of time together and slowly begin to get closer. they get drunk one night and have sex, only for muse a to moan out their ex’s name during sex, which hurts muse b and realizes that muse a will only ever have eyes for their ex. the next day, muse b begins to act distant towards muse a, who is confused as they begin to have feelings for muse b.

DARK PLOTS (warning: highly triggering and nsfw heavy)
aight but a plot where muse a and muse b are step/siblings and muse a has always been very overprotective/possessive over muse b? and at first, muse b just brushes it off as them being their sibling and whatnot, until one day, muse b has someone they’re interested in over at their place and muse a loses it when they see muse b and the person getting intimate. muse a kills the person muse b was with and muse b was shocked, but was turned on by the sight of muse a covered in blood. muse a then proceeds to admit to muse b about their feelings for them and the two have sex before muse b helps muse a dispose of the body. they both feel a rush of adrenaline from killing the person and they can’t stop. they go on the run and keep killing other people while continuing their relationship
i’ve also been dying for a plot where muse a and muse b are siblings. muse b was the older sibling, but their parents gave them up for adoption because they weren’t ready for a child yet. a couple of years later, they had muse a and kept muse a and never told them of their older sibling. muse a had a lovely childhood and was loved by their parents. muse b on the other hand, had a terrible childhood. they grew up in foster care and bounced around from home to home. they were curious about their birth parents and why they gave up their child. as muse b grew older, they found out more about their birth parents as well as the younger sibling they never knew they had; muse a. they grow obsessed with muse a and very possessive as well, to the point where they kidnap muse a to convince them that because muse a is their sibling, then muse a belongs to them. muse a tries to resist but muse b forces themselves on muse a. muse b keeps doing that until muse a eventually breaks and begins to see muse b in a different light.
another plot i’ve been dying to do with a supernatural twist ( that can eventually turn fluffy actually ): muse a is a modern day witch and muse b is a centuries-old vampire. muse a is the doppelganger of muse b’s former lover. when muse b sees muse a, they can only think of their former lover and how muse a must be their former lover reincarnated, and so they kidnap muse a. it was only after muse a comes to and tries to resist that muse b realizes muse a isn’t a reincarnation of their former lover but rather a doppelganger. regardless, muse b is desperate to have someone by their side, so they keep muse a with them. the two butt heads at first, but as time passed, they grow a lot closer. though originally only keeping muse a because they look like muse b’s former lover, muse b eventually develops for muse a and vice versa.
