↠ PART IV — How Is Your Home Life? ↞

Danny's home life is incredibly stable. He's an only child and both of his parents love, and accept him entirely. They share a bond not unlike majority of children share with their parents. His parents are detached without being distant, which lets Danny explore the world for himself without their overbearing influence guiding him one way or another.

They were devastated when they thought they'd lost him to suicide and are much more observant of what he does now, primarily to make sure that he stays away from Ryan, though they just he is smart enough to do so on his own.

↠ PART V — WHAT MAKES YOU… YOU? ↞

001; Danny is a vegetarian and has been since he was five. His grandparents, who he spent a lot of time with, owned a farm and Danny grew very attached to their animals and was devastated when he found out where meat came from.

002; Danny adores poetry and writing poetic music. Even after coming out of a troubled relationship, he uses the experiences as his muse. His singing voice is haunting and melodic, but he has never let anyone hear it because he doesn't want to be ridiculed.

003; Danny has a slight case of narcolepsy. Though he can control it for the most part, when Danny is asleep-- he's asleep. There is no waking that boy until he is ready to be awoken.

Danny was sitting on the floor of his friend's bedroom for the first time all summer, absently playing with his fingers as he waited and watched Brad move about with the joints. Flower would have offered to help but he didn't know what he was doing so he just let his seasoned friend take the reigns. "I'm literally so happy to back," Danny sat up, leaning against his legs as he toyed with his toes. "Did I miss anything major while I was gone? I wouldn't know since those stupid rehab people took my phone when I got there."

He hadn't actually been invited by the boy he'd recently teased via text message, but he had nothing else to do and wanted to see the other freshman. Taking a quick shower and changing into something that he hadn't worn to bed the night before, Danny told his mom he was leaving before starting the short walk across town to Eli's. He'd only been there once before but he remembered the way well enough to get there without much difficulty. Hopping the fence into his friend's backyard, Danny searched the well maintained lawn for several minutes before he found a handful of tiny stones. One by one, Danny threw the pebbles until Eli's pale face came to the glass, a sight that made Danny smile as he called out. "Oh Eli, Elijah! Wherefore art thou, Elijah?"
