Would you ever consider doing an erotic fic on more of the internal stuff? It was interesting that most people seemed to latch onto the flubber itself, rather than what it could do to someone. I’ve always had a fantasy about the flubber having a more explicitly sexual but mischievous person. Instead of being swallowed, it comes in from behind and pleasures the woman from the inside out. It’s interesting seeing people fixated on different aspects of flubber.
By internal you mean anatomically? If so, it has crossed my mind before but I haven’t given it much thought. I admit that the Wilson scene does very little for me. I definitely see the appeal— Flubber is basically penetrating Wilson, after all. But I don’t really fantasize about swallowing Flubber, or of women swallowing Flubber.
But that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t give it a fair shake. As you said, I also find the versatility of the Flubber fetish fascinating. There are so many other kinks and fetishes that you can involve Flubber in; the best part of writing, for me, is exploring those possibilities. For example, I had absolutely no interest in transformation before I thought I’d have a go at writing it. But now it’s become one of my favorite fantasies (and resulted in the best story I’ve ever written, imo).
So I would say yes, I’m receptive to the idea. I have ideas for beginnings of stories but not middles or ends. I’m always on the lookout for inspiration— and a woman getting flubbed from the back does sound fun.

None that I’ve seen but I have seen plenty of people talking about wanting that, strangely. Given that, you’d think the demand would meet itself. I have some theories as to why they haven’t. Now as to why I haven’t done it, I just don’t think I could do the concept justice. I think my smut writing skills are fine, but insufficient to capture the pure sexual essence of that scene. That really goes for anything to do with the movie directly. In other words it feels sacred, in some way lol.
Also part of the appeal (to me) is the hypothetical nature of it? I was going to write a fic in response to this, but I realized I’ll never write as good as the (horny) viewers imagination. I mean for the movie being called Flubber, he’s not on-camera a lot. And there are at least four instances where Flubber is loose and/or unaccounted for, and that’s not counting the mambo scene. It’s not a stretch (hah) to assume Flubber isn’t going to wreak some new havoc, or meet up with some old “friends” while he’s out of control.
(Side note: I believe we should have had at least one more sequence where Flubber terrorizes the neighborhood— if not for selfish horny reasons, then for the fact that the movie is called Flubber and the tagline is “catch it if you can!” We aren’t doing a lot of catching! Chase more butts!)
But who knows, I might change my mind and write it. I’d be interested to hear what your fantasies with the scene are.

Flubber’s size will be difficult to ascertain because we don’t have it to put in a graduated cylinder, without also mentioning that flubber is sadly fictional. But there are clues that the movie gives us.

This screencap is probably the best bet for our purposes: Flubber is at rest in a vaguely uniform shape and we have a clear reference: the professor’s hand. But that begs the question… how big was Robin Williams’s hand? We don’t have exact measurements to go on. We’ll instead hazard to use the average male hand breadth, which is about 3.5 inches.
Now, Flubber is a dome with a circular base about the size of Robin Williams’s hand. We’ll add another quarter to compensate for the slight spill-over. We can guesstimate Flubber’s height based on Robin Williams’s finger length and say… about two inches, judging by the comedy legend’s finger being bent about 45°, and his fingers being roughly the same as his hand breadth.
This gives us…
A height of 2 inches and a diameter of 3.75, the latter of which halves to a radius of 1.875
Now that we have the numbers, we can make our calculations. The equation for the volume of a dome is… *googles*:
