Organizing with Altoids Tins by matthew_moss on Flickr.
This labeled Altoid box system from Flickr user Matthew Moss makes my OCD happy. All he needs to do is sort them alphabetically and I would probably give him a cookie.

This lamp had a broken, ugly tie-dyed lampshade, and a bulb broken off inside of it. I was going to throw it out, but then I decided to get crafty.
I used craft wire to affix the lampshade back onto it's frame, painted it, and used an X-acto knife to cut portions out so it would provide illumination.

diy jewelry storage trials and tribulations
So. I saw a tutorial on how to create a fabulous jewelry storage center. I don't have much as far as jewelry goes, but I never wear ANY of it because it is always in a tangled ball inside of my tiny jewelry box. Out of sight, out of mind.
I saw the tutorial, and was instantly inspired. I had TONS of random items that I could use to make my own fancy-shmancy jewelry storage center. I was pumped!!!
Well, due to a lack of paint and hardware, my awesome project turned into a night of wasted time and wasted paint.
Gearing up for round 2! This one is going to be awesome.
I will post my step-by-step instructions once it is all put together and full of my cheap-ass jewelry. It's going to be so pwetty!
