Keith look around cautiously at the place he'd been taken, clutching to his white shirt. He'd just been playing tag when... Where was he...? It didn't look like the orphanage... A lump of dread settked in his chest what if... His eyes went wide as he looked for a spot to hide, keeping perfectly silent as he listened for anything.
@zombieapocalypsekeith
Keith smiles at the other before proceeding to actually eat.
Keith finishes the food before bowing his head slightly, "Thank you for the meal."
"Uh.....no need to bow." How did this kid grow up.....?
“oh- um... sorry. Mom taught us to do that after meals, I guess it’s just a habit...” He mutters.
Oh shit. "I guess it was a culture thing for her? Just uh, whatever makes you comfortable...."
"Culture thing... I guess you could say that." The orphanages were a culture in its own way...
Great Keith, you made him remember his dead mother. "I'm gonna clean up. And uh...." He looks down at Rap practically knowing on himself. "Could you chase him out with the broom and sweep the feathers up? I mean you don't have to...."
“No I can,” Keith assured, standing up, “I’ll even get the dishes as well.”
"No I got the dishes," Keith assures. "If I'm not done by the time you get him out just go wash your hands."
"Okay. If you need any help Id be happy to... I can wash clothes, clean, we all have to pitch in at the orphanage." Keith says, rubbing his neck.
"You live there, here your my guest. I'm just asking you to chase out the giant lizard bird so he stops getting feathers everywhere. Or blood." He wonders if that Lance has noticed yet. The thing really needs a cone. Or a muzzle? He shrugs and moves to get the dishes done with a hum.
"Oh... okay. Thank you, " Keith nods before picking up the broom
Rap growls as he spots Keith with the broom, but it's a weak meaningless one.
"Shoo!" Keith says, waving the broom at Rap
Rap hisses at the broom before scurrying out of the apartment unhappily.
