Pure joy was written all over their face, as they bounced up and down on their heels. What can they say, they’re young, and love is still such an exciting concept.

"Oh my, it's lovely seeing you two!" Fukase giggles, ruby lips curling upward into a cheerful smile. "It's not often that I get to see other Vocaloids besides myself and Kaito."

“It’s always nice to see you too, too!” They laugh at their own ‘joke’, waving Fukase over with a smile.

“I guess everyone’s busy. I know I haven’t had much time to hang around these days. But, yeah! It’s nice to see another one. How’ve you been?”

Maika wasn’t going to lie, these new ‘Androids’ popping up left and right in the new futuristic (really considered modern) music industry confounded her. They all wore one primary colour, could sing in ways that see just couldn’t and where basically immortal.

This one however was the worst yet.

“Look, I’m going to be a little blunt here but…are you a boy or a girl? Oh, and why yellow of all colours?”

“Who, me?”

Not that they weren’t used to questions like this. Their programmed gender was prone to causing confusion, and in their eyes it never really hurt to ask. It wasn’t any skin off their silicon back to give a quick explanation, after all.

The yellow part was a little confusing, but not that it mattered much either.

“Well, it’s a little hard to explain. I’m not really a boy or a girl? I guess I’m both, really. It depends. Like today! Today I am a boy, and you can call me Len! But somedays, I’m a girl! And then I’m Rin!”

They pursed their lips.

“Also, I just really like yellow. And orange too, they’re my favourite colours. Also, who are you? Have we met before? It's nice to meet you, if we haven't!”

              The android is fairly taken aback at first, not entirely sure how to proceed.               The insulting one-liners were usually enough to chase off the others,               so what was with this eager individual?

Most people would receive an exuberant greeting from Kagamine once they returned to the ‘vocaloid house’. But there was one exception. Not to say Kagamine didn’t like Kaito, no. But Kaito was different. He was practically an adult, and basically ‘cool’. At least, from their point of view. So in turn, they would have to act ‘cool’ around him.

“Hey Kaito,” they said, drawing out the syllables in Kaito’s name. They were relaxing in the front room, nonchalantly skimming a book, pretending they hadn’t been here for the past hour waiting for him. Putting down the book, they snapped their fingers into-

Double finger guns. Aw yeah, they were definitely cool now.

                                              〖🔪〗       “Len-kyun~!” Just hearing them say that, oh how her heart thumped! She couldn’t help but suddenly hug onto them, lightly and repeatedly kissing their cheek. The Albina’s face being as pink as a peach. Yep, all it took for her to cheer up was a compliment from her beloved Kagamine!

It would be a lie to say Kagamine wasn’t a little flustered by the sudden kisses. Their face turned red as Tei hugged them. It wasn’t that they minded. Affection was their shtick, but this was a little sudden.

“Tei-chan! I, uh, take it you’re feeling better then?”
