Literally this.
Getting dirty, asking questions, being unapologetically enthusiastic about things, going overboard on projects. These are a few of my favorite things.
This is so heartbreaking, but so true.Ā

Hope everyone is having a nice, relaxing easter break and are spending some quality time with the ones they love the most! After seeing some friends and going home to see my family, Iām ready to jump back into some studying for the next week to catch up on all my subjects during the mid-semester break. Coffee and some scrumptious easter cookies are getting me through!

lost my phone and nearly broke my finger. a perfect start to the university break. tomorrow, work and a beginning to the analysis assignment.
āBased on [that], [this] simplifies to [something that is in no way simple].ā
my favourite lecturer often would give some fantastic linear algebra result, usually some corollary or lemma for the bigger theorems, with quite a literal handwave and the quote āthis is quite easy. think about it for one, maybe two minutes.ā it was easy, maybe 20% of the time.
welcome to me?
iām not yet a mathematician, just a humble second year university student. iād like to begin this blog by mentioning just how impressed i am that Dirichlet gave his first lecture, lacking a degree, at the age of 20. the lecture was on a partial proof of Fermatās famous theorem for the case n=5 (he later completed the proof, not before Legendre, and proved the case for n=14). i canāt prove a case of FLT yet. i can hardly do my combinatorics assignment. but iāll make it. maybe not when iām 20 (although 3 months is a decent amount of time), but some day.
