Freewrites At Work
Slowly running out of patience, Becoming irritable and tired of waiting, Waiting on who and wait you ask, Well, the answer is that I’m tired of waiting on myself, This feeling, The feeling of knowing that I’m holding back, That I have been settling within myself, That I have been unconsciously and consciously losing myself makes me dismal, Seeing the self that I have envisioned deteriorating and disappearing right in front of my eyes, Trying my hardest to hold on, but still fading away rapidly with no control over the disappearance, How did I reach this point? How did the known become the unknown? I pray to God daily, asking him could he provide sight to my eyes, With hopes that he provides visual representation of my destiny that I cannot see, I hear my voice in my head at 1000 miles a hour telling me all of the things that I should do to obtain success, But unfortunately my feet moves at a tortoise pace, The overload of thoughts that are moving through my mental memory brings a screeching halt to my physical hard drive, Who would’ve ever thought that the unlimited mobility of my mind would cause my body paralysis? Why? Why me? Why is it that I am so simplistic but so complex at the same time? Instead of being proud of the accomplishments in my current life, I am disappointed because I cannot find peace in who I wish to become, So free but so caged at the same time, So much responsibility for a man with none, I look in the mirror and see a version of me unbothered, not worried, unfazed by the world around me, Laid on the beach in Puerto Rico, Taking shots of Tequila, Enjoying life with no regards, no regrets, Happy, Then I stop and think, Happy? What the fuck is happy? Is happiness working a 12 hour job day and night, filled with monontiny and repetition just to make decent money that you barely get to enjoy because overtime is the only way to secure the bag for things that you wish to afford? Is happiness finding the woman of your dreams, The one that you prayed for, Falling in love with her, At the same time realizing that you’ve grown to love her to the point you have forgotten how to love yourself? Working so hard to obtain growth in your relationship that your own personal growth and stunted? Noticing that the more she smiles, the more you frown because you are perplexed? Is happiness being the one who always compromised in order to be available to family and friends to lift the boulder off of their shoulders while being crushed by yours? The more and more I think, The more and more I realize that I am not what I’m looking for within myself….
If you're looking for an eye opening, funny, but real book to read, I suggest that you read this one. It will definitely make you reconsider your perception to your everyday life.

Be mindful and careful who you create with. If you don't grow from a collab, what's the point of collabs? The point is to be the best you can be.. If you're not pushed to your creative limit, you are wasting your time.. How will you ever know how great you can be in everyone you work with is stuck in the same box??
Take the time to enjoy life.. Somebody special made me realize that we stress the things we want and don't have yet to the point that we forget the simplicity in a happy life. Your current situation may not look perfect but understand that it IS PERFECT because of your blessings and where you will go in life. Don't give up on your dreams, don't give up on your life..

CPR
I walk up to a body on the ground, the body is trying to scream for help, SAVE ME!, gasping for air, clutching his chest, losing life by the second, as I stood there not knowing what to do, looking down in panic, in complete terror, the fright that I feel in my body temporarily paralyzes me and immobilizes me from attempting to save this man’s life, he whispers up to me as he begins to fade “how could you watch me die and not try to save me? ”, as he took his final breath, I suddenly snap out of my momentary paralysis, I quickly dropped to the man’s side and decided that the only way that I could save this man’s life was by performing CPR, this was the first time I had to perform this maneuver, I mean I practiced on a few dummies, but this was the real thing!, as I began to give CPR to the dying man, a woman emerged from the shadows and stopped me, she asked why, why what I said, she said “why would you save his life” was her response, do you realize that you are saving the life of a monster that has plans on killing you, Me? Why would he kill me?, how do you even know this man, her response was “because I know YOU! ”, this man’s name is The Past Life, every time you have tried to move forward, he has done everything in his power to pull you back, he knows all of your weaknesses, your fears, your flaws, your regrets, your failures, he has been killing you slowly because you’ve been too afraid to let him die!, you will never find love, you will never find peace, you will never prosper if you allow him to live, I unwillingly peeked in the shadow to see that his face was mines, this woman was telling the truth, a tear fell down my face because I finally realized that the reason I was dying was because I let my killer live too long, it’s either me or him, the woman reminded me that if he lives, I die, as I looked forward at the life I’ve always wanted, I made the painful but needed decision, I got off the ground, dusted myself off, took one more look at the past life, and walked away letting him die, the woman smiled and said “I’m happy you made the right choice ’, she extended her hand, I grabbed it cautiously, but before I could move, I asked her for her name, she smiled happily and said, Your Future. 💘
